Only profit wise I could find was this:
[Gamespot link removed]
where they state:
So = profitThe estimate to break-even is 100,000 units from the neoGAF analysts. In layman's terms, FM Evolved only needs to sell 100,000 copies so they can gain profits for every copy sold after 100,000.

sold 300k copies. can't find actual profits but can't even remotely imagine it had more than 3x the overhead as front mission.
Probably your worst example:Kayne and Lynch 2,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kane_%26_Lynch_2:_Dog_Days
Of which is considered:Kane and Lynch 2 has sold over 1 million copies worldwide

Several articles mention K&L as being sold extremely well. The gaming high points were Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, which each sold one million units.
can't find anything on this one way or the otherCrystal Defenders R1,
only one you might have actually gotten right as the series has declined greatly. The Crystal Chronicles series on the Wii,

according to this:

they probably broke even around 400k sales.
So basically out of all you said only one was a failure. Now of course a lot of this is mostly guesswork because SE doesn't really give overhead. But it's a lot better than just assuming all overheads are the same and if a game doesn't sell +mil it must have failed, because as you said, those aren't their major games...which also means they don't spend as much money to make them...which means they don't have to sell as much to make a profit.
Basically, prove otherwise, which I'm more than willing to admit some of this could be off as a lot is based on guesswork. But at least it's a lot more thought involved than just assuming SE has had a string of failures with nothing to back it up.
Mindjack? I can't see them profiting off that one.
hahahah mindjack...
ya that one probably failed more than 14 lol
Spoiler: show
mindjack failed more then 14 did and you know it, as long as buttons is playing 14 thats at least 1 more then mindderp
How the hell did I forget Mindjack. Nevertheless, if you're only calling one of those a "failure", then I guess I can't argue. Glory to SE and their massive successes in the last decade. I'm sure they'll be just fine in the future.
never said they were massive successes either. You need to learn to trun your exaggeration button off even in sarcasm.
Obviously they failed in some places as shown per SE's profit loss. But my point wasn't that they haven't failed, just that they aren't failing in every game ie "stream of failures".
