are they the "achievements" items?
are they the "achievements" items?
Wow, I totally didn't realize this was coming out. I just happened to be killing time in a Best Buy this afternoon, and thought "Oh shit, DS was dope. I'll buy a sequel." Good timing.
What are the blue glowing ore thingies that make noise? I've seen 3 so far but can't find a way to get to them
They're called stonebites. You can start the quest to collect them all in the Fjord, which you can reach after you get the gun.
This game is a blast. I like it more then Darksiders so far, and I loved Darksiders.
Anybody have an idea which tree is supposed to better overall? Or does it not matter?
I can't see Necromancer having the sheer utility that comes with buffing teleport slash. TS doesnt cost wrath if it doesnt connect, so either you siphon health, or you get away from whatever.
Warning: The pictures are large, I forgot to resize them.
If you're aiming to go through the crucible, while my weapon is at the level cap, if you can find any two weapons with execution chance and health steal, keep them for your first possessed weapon, then continue to buy either execution chance or health steal weapons for any time you may want to upgrade your possessed weapon to another.
Spoiler: show
With this weapon, I can refill half of my health bar in a single throw of the spinning scythe, I also typically get an execute chance at the very least 2/3 of the time I throw it. Nice, simple, clean. Plus if i really need to do damage, I follow my throw with a string from my secondary weapon.
Spoiler: show
I use a mace because that's the last heavy possessed weapon I've obtained, i'd rather find a hammer or axe though. I use health on kill for my secondary because that way regardless of which weapon I'm using, I'm continuously regenerating health.
Feel free to send me spoilers in PMs guys. Wont be buying the game for a while
btw my roommate's dog does not like the death mask
as in you wear it and he freaks out, or he doesn't like wearing it
Is the game OK on PC? Don't have an xbox anymore and my PS3 is just a dust collector with a very old firmware that Im too lazy to update or anything. Never played the first but lots of hype about this and from the trailers it looks like a god of war/dmc/persia style game that will get put to good use.
edit: I do have an xbox controller if the game is better played with that than a keyboard
I've heard no big complaints about the PC version, but I'd definitely suggest a controller
For whatever reason its so hard for me to pull the trigger on video games, because a lot of the time I'll get near the very end and stop playing... but I go through money faster than water when it comes to bullets/guns/shoes/toys/gadgets/electronics and sheer nonsense.
Guess I'll bite, although skyward sword and batman are still in cellophane.
Sledge's response to the current PC howling on the offical forumsDuring the Community Summit both Jay Fitzloff and I (Mathew Everett) were under the impression that full .config files and final keyboard/mouse and controller hookups were going to work as promised when the PC version of the game launched. That was the plan at the time from a specifications perspective.
Unfortunately, especially at the end of the development cycle, sometimes things change at the last minute, and this was one of them. This puts us in an uncomfortable spot as we were acting on the best information we had at the time, and it has turned out not to be in the final game (at this point).
Since it was always the intention to implement these features, as I type this, the development team is checking to see what items can get added into the game. While I can’t promise what can be done, I can promise we are working with the proper teams and have expressed the importance of including them in a patch.
For attendees of the community event who reported the information that everyone thought was true at the time: our apologies. We did not mean to put you in a position of putting facts out there that would prove to be inaccurate: you are our partners (and our friends). Please link this post to your sites so that your fans know the error was not intentional on anyone’s part and we are doing everything we can to address it. We will circle back when we have more information. And, once again, our sincerest apologies to both attendees to the Community Summit, and their fanbase for the mistake on our part.
It's a bit of a lousy situation, but at least the response sounds comes off as sincere. Could've blew the entire thing off and ignored the matter entirely.
