I find HSotD pretty disappointing but still entertaining to watch (who isn't entertained by tits?) The horror/gore parts are good and the fanservice is good, but they just mix them together and it becomes not only inappropriate (as if fanservice ever is) but just weird to watch. Some scenes that could be really tense and awesome are ruined by fanservice.

It's an old complaint, and I think one I'm mostly alone with. I wouldn't recommend it at all if you actually like the zombie/survival horror genre, otherwise, go nuts.

There where 3 the first one Light got, Misa's, and Rems that Light got after she died.

There were technically 4. Ryuk had his own plus an extra. Misa got one from the Shinnigami that fell in love with her, and then Remi's. 3 of those 4 were used by Humans throughout the show (Ryuk's own personal note never fell into human hands, I believe)

What do you guys think of Noein? It's been one of my favorites since I saw it for the first time. The soundtrack is great also.

I'm curious since I noticed it was on Netflix. I skipped around and the dub is mediocre. Whoever voiced Yuu is especially bad.

I'm in the middle of watching it. Though it started quite slowly it's finally picking up and getting more and more interesting. I don't even remember why I downloaded it - I think it might have been recommended by someone on here some time ago. And yeah, soundtrack is pretty nice.

I remember it ending weirdly (been a long time though), but I did enjoy the rest of it a lot. Definitely worth watching.

It does feature a big twist at the climax of the show but hey it's anime. You get plenty of foreshadowing though so it's not like it's completely from left field.

Was there ever more from the //Sign anime? I know the games were connected to it, and //Roots was slightly, but was the only character to show up again Sora, through his, what? 3 different incarnations?

I liked //Sign a lot and I never really understood why as it had almost zero action.
