I've said it time and again, the guy's a massive hit/miss in his writing, and I got a feeling the only reason I love bakemonogatari as much as I do now is because of the seiyuu and shaft and nothing to do with his writing.

Me too, but I liked the writing for Senjougahara's dialogue and her personality. She made the anime for me and I'm glad she had such a big part in it. Everyone else's story sucked until we got to the catgirl.

Hachikuji's seiyuu is awesome and so is the character. You take that back.

I'm going to have to agree with Magus for once, the sentiment at least.
Suruga and her arc was fucking awesome. The only weak character in the series was Nadeko, and even then it wasn't bad, just not on the same level as the rest.

But to be clear, I'm not angry because Katanagatari was crap, I'm angry at the events that occurred. Yes I know their necessity to the story, but still.

That was one painful scene to watch. Karma got him back at least...well...it got pretty much everyone..

That's one thing I loved about the show. Nobody got a second chance, they all killed and got killed for it, and the only survivors lost pretty much everything.

I'm not sure if it's the case since she wasn't evil (not many in this show were). What she did had to be done to save the world, and her last line in the castle implies that she did not kill out of hatred ("I didn't dislike her"). Her willingness to be killed once her goal was accomplished also show that.

Fate was definitively less cruel with her than it was with other character, so in a way, she did get a free pass, but I wouldn't consider her a villain, or at least, not more than Togame who did that out of vengeance.

Do people like that show? I remember watching it and getting bored after a couple of episodes, which is sad cause I only recall like 6 in total.
