New OP and ED with this week's episode. They're better then the first OP and ED of the 2nd season but still don't match up with 1st season at all. ED2 from the first season still tops by a long shot! Episode stuff:

Almost the entire episode felt like 1 giant deathflag lol. The girls having a sentimental goodbye with Tekkadan, flashbacks with how Turbine was created and how Naze met Amida, underhanded deeds being done in the background. It just screams deathflagl. The only thing that makes me think they might actually manage to get out of it alive was what Naze told Orga at the end. Mainly because accepting the deathflag seems to be the only way to prevent it

Wasn't season 1 like constant deathflags -- with the only one that actually came true being Biscuit?

I feel like there were more. Biscuit's was the most obvious one, but there was Akihiko's brother (and some of the other lesser Tekkadan members) as well as Carta (and some other miscellaneous characters) too.

The big cop out was when all the characters that we thought died in ep.24 ended up being perfectly alive and healthy in ep.25. And I suppose you could argue against Carta being a deathflag, but she had her flashbacks!!!

Frankly, I hope he never has any chill ever. Mika has been the best Gundam protagonist in a long time. Waaaaaay better then "I can't kill anyone" Kira, autistic Heero and "I don't actually remember anything about him he was that bland and then turned into some weird metal man for god knows what reason" Setsuna.

Having not watched the entire series yet I think my favourite moment is definitely when he's fighting the Mobile Armor on Mars and lands on the purple guy, mid fight, just to steal his giant sword.

That was good. Doesn't top the Carta annihilation for me though.
