Well, there is that Gunpla-combat Vita game; so i'm sure that will probably spur more Gunpla Builders-type stuff (as the game itself is basicly inspired by GBG). It probably would have been a much better option than AGE to draw younger fans, maybe they'll get it right next time they try.

Gundam Guy is having a "grunt" unit sale from October 1st - 17th (with more to be added as it goes on I guess); MG Marasai, and both ReZEL variants, seem the cheapest i've seen it (by about 2-3 dollars). There's also alot of 1/144 AGE shit, so basicly another AGE kit clearance (primarily): http://gginfinite.com/GRUNT-SALE.html

GSAM has the MG Zaku II 2.0 for 36.99 and MG Char's Z'gok for 31.99 all month: http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com/

Vigna-Ghina II Custom conversion (using an MG F91 and the old 1/100 Vigna-Ghina II Silhouette F91 kit) from Crossbone: Steel Seven:

Pretty sure that guy also scratchbuilt the three Death Gale Team MS too some years ago (in Model Graphix magazine, IIRC).

So how long until MG Rezel Type C comes out? Since they will probably pump out more Unicorn MGs than AGE ones

The General Revil variants (excluding the RGM-89A2) are essentially the same thing as the standard ones, as far as kits go. Their limiters and shit are all internal; so it's effectively just a color pallette swap (and a different visor color), plus the Defenser parts (the HGUC 1/144s have the Defenser ReZEL already; MG does not.. yet). The A2 Jegan has a different backpack from the RGM-89A (the CCA Jegan) and more thrusters, but is otherwise the same.

So to answer the question, I don't know; probably between big releases (like the Rozen Zulu) if it's even necessary (frankly, they'd be better off probably just taking cues from B-Club's conversion kits and maybe making "variant packs" as seperate, low-cost alternative part sets for purchase). But I suspect the ReZEL with Defenser equipment will be an MG, eventually (especially with the General Revil being a major antagonist from now on). It's really not an issue for people like myself who paint; but the GR variant ReZEL will just have the armor recolored (and I guess the Defenser equipment will also be in the same colors, since no standard-color ReZEL has been seen using it yet).

Next year will probably be a Unicorn heavy lineup, since the Wing manga/light novel stuff isn't due to finish until 2014 (I think, and there's barely anything out there for FT, image-wise), and obviously AGE was terrible for them (which means the Dark Hound will probably be the last MG for AGE for awhile). I doubt the SEED Destiny remaster will be a thing until next fall or something; maybe they'll throw out a MG GINN or some shit, who knows. If the SEED announcement is for a Destiny remaster, then I have a terrible feeling we're going to have a shitload of all-caps ZAFT MGs incoming (it's Zaku, not ZAKU, you fuck).

Though to be clear, those Destiny MGs would probably only show up beginning in late summer or thereabouts; MG releases are generally planned out between 6-8 months ahead, with some flexibility (to hold off a release) if a series woefully underperforms like AGE did. We pretty much "know" that the Sazabi 2.0/Ver. Ka. is the December 2013 MG; the V2 is apparently ready as well (the Core Fighter transformation, docking, and knee issues have seemingly been worked out), and could theoretically be released in January (pretty unlikely unless they announced it this/next month). We also have the hint that the MG Rozen Zulu will be timed around Episode 6 (as a March or April release) based on the comments from an interview last month; so it could mean they've already got a Geara Zulu designed too.

I hope the unfortunate MG AGE-FX is as QUALITY as it appears in this screencap:

MG Tallgeese EW in January 2013:

I assume the EW designation means it'll have that lance weapon from the recently translated chapter of the Glory of Losers manga too. Doesn't seem like anyone really expected this; not so soon anyway. 2013 should still be a UC heavy year; but I guess January is turning into Wing EW MG month now as per the January 2012 Heavyarms EW. They'll have to shave 1.2 meters/1.2 cm off the Tallgeese to make a Leo, however (won't be long before someone makes a resin conversion for just such a thing).

    HGUC Rozen-Zulu:

MG Nu Gundam Ver. Ka./2.0, painted and with decals:

Looks like they're reusing the Amuro logo base design again from the Hi-Nu; also adding in more stable supports for the funnels. And what would be a MG first, fully articulated fingers.

Finally, MG V2 tenatively scheduled for Q1 2013 (grain of salt; wait for some more substantial proof, would pretty much have to be February or March, as April and/or May would be reserved for the Rozen-Zulu's Ep. 6-timed release). This would presumably be the basic V2; Assault and Buster parts would be released later (alongside another MG, mimicking the Victory and V-Dash parts).

    Not Gundam, but:

Bandai is going to be making 1/72 kits out of the original SDF Macross Valkyries, like the Macross Frontier shit.

Those look like waterslide decals; if they are included with the Nu, it means we're finally free of those goddamn stickers (one can hope..). Dry transfers (for flat surfaces) and waterslide (rounded surfaces) only, please.

Someone is gonna convert it into a Leo and it'll be the strongest MG kit ever.

Geese is the predecessor to all Leos so it wouldn't surprise me.

A resin conversion (from B-Club or otherwise) will most certainly follow the Tallgeese, if they make the mistake of not making it well known they're going to release a MG Leo (there's already the full resin 1/100 Leo from earlier in the year). There is a height difference of 1.2 m (1.2 cm) to account for (and maybe some slight shaving down of the width to keep it roughly proportioned). It doesn't seem that this Tallgeese will include the lance weapon from Glory of Losers as of yet; could hope it does however.

Also, now hearing the V2 is Q2 so probably just throw a lot more salt on this one; if its coming we'll find out 2-3 months ahead, so hold out hope I guess. Only almost sure bets are Rozen-Zulu (timed with Ep. 6) and Sazabi Ver. Ka./2.0 (December); its expected to be a UC heavy year, though the Tallgeese does seem to indicate a trend of making January the "Wing month." If the Tallgeese sells well, i'm sure the Leo and variants will show up in the latter-half of 2013.

Edit: The old F91 and Victory kits are going to be put into long-term reproduction again in 2013, as i've heard. Let's hope so.

So, the hands will come preassembled (just separate from the trees and adjust digits); I guess the Nu Ver. Ka./2.0 is going to be the RX-78 OYW (which set the standard for internal frames) for hands.

The wrist ball joint (where it connects with the hand) appears to be able to slide a little; I assume this was done to make the hyper bazooka easier to pose on the shoulder. That ball joint itself is also able to rotate independently of the ball part as well, so there looks to be some impressive posability and motion there.

Since I checked Dalong to be sure, looks like the MG 1.5.

    Old Okawara artwork:

If you have some black and brown paint, and let's say some spare wires (probably electronics wires, old headphones, etc.) and bits of plastic (plus super glue), you could easily fashion some damaged-looking stuff for the left arm and head if you wanted to give it a shot.

I don't have a ton of spare time and am awful with stuff like that, but I'm glad I didn't have to just throw the whole thing out. My chrome Char's Zaku and Alex survived as well but I had to toss a WZC, Burning, and Heavyarms Custom.

Real shame there; the gatling guns are an easy fit on the MG Heavyarms EW, pretty much just a repaint from that point on if those were salvagable.

But seriously, if you get bored.. maybe just use that large picture as a source of inspiration or something; can use bits of plastic and wires/whatever shit that can be super glued. Play around with alittle paint to make them look burnt or whatever, and you have yourself something to be proud of (since you're new to this). Unfortunate about not having the time though; given how much better kits are these days.

Maybe it could be theraputic to try it though if you ever get the time (or just getting the opportunity to fire everyone you work with..).

    Anyway, random shit (relatively large):

I still have an old Ez-8 kit new in box to put together if I get the time/itch, but I need a new fine-tip for line accenting. Probably won't do a full painting on it.

Could probably get a Micron fine-tip from most craft stores, or even Amazon; alternatively could maybe try dilluting water-based paint with warm water and a drop of dish soap to disrupt the surface tension and letting it fill the panel lines. Let it dry; then... I guess probably use a little rubbing alcohol (on a q-tip or maybe a clean rag) to remove the excess. General, rather prevalent and readily availible (online anyway) small jar of Model Master Acryllic Flat Black is like 3 bucks or so; a craft store probably would have some alternative paint that would likely be fine for panel lines (wouldn't necessarily be so sure about a broad application for painting the model with it though).

So yeah, if you get the time/motivation to tackle that, could probably get most of what you need for... maybe 15 bucks.
