Maybe it wasn't Four, maybe it was her twin sister that looked exactly like her, and uses her suit. And they just programmed her the same way.
I hate Season 2 Lockon if you can't tell.

I was about to say that is exactly what it was, but had her mixed up with Puru lol
No official announcements yet, but perhaps money or logic might have finally won out; a line of High Grade-like 1/100s for mobile weapons that would likely never see a MG is tenatively scheduled to launch in 2013. To be a bit more clear, think ZZ's Hamma Hamma, V's Abigor or Sandhoge, and the Tragos or the aquatic MS of Wing (or even smaller support vehicles like sub-flight systems, or the Jet Core Booster, etc.). Pricing will probably be in the 30s or 40s; similar to a MG. This seems high; but do keep in mind I think they're taking the now-dead EX line approach of (comparatively to HGUCs or MGs) limited releases (since they assuredly have researched the degree of demand/interest).
I suppose (just me and wishful thinking) that if this is even moderately successful we might finally see some MAs in 1/144 or even 1/100 scale too (though they would certainly be hovering around 100 USD each for 1/100s). It would be something to have a 1/100 Big Zam or Queen Mansa for sure, even if in limited releases like they did with the (now dead) EX line. But those two are probably exceptions; most likely it'd be the smaller MAs.
Stayed tuned though, 2013 seems like its going to be glorious.
Look, it's high past fucking time the Oz grunt suits got legitimate models. Leo, Aries, Cancer, Virgo, etc. Best grunt suits in an AU series bar none. Step it up
AGE being a black hole in every regard except for failure and dissapointment might have possibly been a factor in this decision; especially as far as "diversifying" their Hobby Division lines/products. This idea has been kicked around since as early as 2010 by some accounts; but I can definitely see how shoddy sales from AGE could have finally made it a thing.
As they (especially beginning in 2012) have now taken to publicizing kits months in advance, staggering these to cover UC/AUs MGs and HG 1/100s opposite eachother seems like a smart financial decision (plus the fans are happy too). I suspect they will probably go with a "safe" release first, but what that could be is probably up to their research (or a lucky guess). If I had to guess, it would probably be a non-Gundam SEED MS (much to my chagrin).
I would love to see some MG or newer HG designs of some of the cool mobile suits and armors from Zeta. The Palace Athene is a personal favorite, but there are a lot of good one- or two-episode wonders that Jerid, et al piloted.
The Gabthley and Bound Doc might be likely candidates; the latter moreso because of its size and probable cost if it were an MG. The Asshimar too, probably. But one MS in particular that I think we could eventually see is the Xamel (from 0083); at 27 meters/27.0 cm tall, it's a fucking big and bulky monster that would just be absurdly expensive with typical MG features.
I'd be abit skeptical that it'd be anything but primarily grunts (for UC anyway) though; whereas I can really see something like the Javelin and Jamesgun getting a 1/100 here, I have a feeling the Palace Athene would be reserved for an eventual MG (no matter how far away that is). The newly popular Byarlant is almost assuredly an MG; they can release it twice as the original from Zeta, and the Custom from Unicorn. I can see a great majority of the AU grunts being released as HG 1/100s however (except the Leo, since it has that wonderful MG Tallgeese frame to work with).
As long as these are "MG-like" (think S1 00 1/100s) then we can probably be happy; although I think some of the transformables might be difficult to translate accurately (without partsforming; like the Asshimar).
I freaking love this song, pretty underrated as far as Gundam OPs/etc go IMO.
Probably even more massively underrated.
Not that it matters (or would likely even happen, to boot), but i'd really like for the Igloo OP singer Taja to do any eventual F90/F91/Crossbone OPs. I don't even think the original woman who sang the F91 stuff is active anymore.
Spoiler: show
Blu Ray
Right Stuf employee I talked to said to probably expect them to have their shipment in around the first week of April (they'll probably have some kind of definitive target date when it goes up for pre-order).
Kind of big:
Spoiler: show
Also, the forthcoming MG Tallgeese apparently will have that lance weapon (Tempyst Lance or something) included; and finally, as obvious to most as it is, the runners indeed show gating for the Leo (though the parts are not present). The plastic gating for those parts is there in the form of small nubs on the armor (and afew frame runners).
So, if you're on the fence about the translated The Origin manga from Vertical, you might want to pre-order Vol. 1 and 2 now; I guess they're only doing 3,500-4,000 copies per volume worldwide with no reprints. They also come with the essays and side material from Tomino and others.
So, you can see the base frame of the Tallgeese/Leo:
I can see the abdominal joint there being reduced in the Leo; together with some reductions in the height of the legs (keep in mind, we're talking about a difference in height of 1.4 cm here) will have to occur too. Those vents on head will need to be shaved down as well. Honestly, with this image giving a clearer look at things, i'm pretty confident any Leo conversion kits should be pretty fucking cheap (15-20 dollars at the most). Not that it would stop B-Club from fucking you in the ass with high prices anyway.
And uh, that Tempyst Lance might actually be only in a special edition kit; conflicting reports about this.
And here's the weekly Hiraiface:
Spoiler: show
And finally; April 3, 2013 will mark the 20th anniversary of Victory's first episode airing, so with Unicorn Ep. 6 being in March, April is (probably) V2 city.
B-Club is releasing some 1/100 resin kits of the Battle Bikes (Galicson, Kou, Ohtu) from Victory; January 2013.

HLJ is having a sale on brushes, tools (sanding, files, saws, knives). Some good shit here; bunch of Olfa hobby knives on sale (highly recommend this brand, they feel so solid in the hand and they're quite sharp too); bunch of good-fantastic quality brushes too. Might be a good idea to buy if you think you'll be doing any kind of painting (especially broad, flat brushes).

Would recommend this brush in particular; I have 20 of them, and holy shit are they great for very tiny details (and the odd panel line in a shitty spot).

I have a similar dozen brushes like this one (same make, but a different number); really fantastic if you need to apply paint to a broad area (you generally, with some thinning, can make brush strokes minimal to non-existant with such a broad brush).
A certain forum reminded me about this, and it contains the scene I had forgotten and was trying to look for in regards to the beam saber near the end. This is really Tomino's best attempt at fanservice imo. And that beam saber in the end, jesus...
