Oh yeah drop the Gundam name and it could a good anime on it's on.

Only the worst sort of person dislikes G, you guys.
I like this thing rrobbert184 has been doing lately. Showing off certain places in Japan.
So, Unicorn (and by extension UC, I guess) has led to a significant rise in Gundam's popularity and Bandai has begun to factor the fanbase outside of Japan back into their decisionmaking; foreign sales comprise something like 30-31% of their annual business now. That's a sizable growth from 2007, when it was in the high teens IIRC. If it grows or stays the same, maybe the next TV series will get the Unicorn treatment with simultaneous dubbing and airing. I'm reasonably certain Bandai has identified the major retailers for Gundam merchandise in NA by now (see: these Gunpla code campaigns), so doubtlessly they're probably communicating to see what NA fans are buying. I suspect SEED is also well-represented in the sales too, but given how Bandai is reissuing Unicorn kits essentially every other month (to satisfy global demand), it's reasonable to say Unicorn is still on top.

Gundam UC Manga Launches with Bright Noa as Protagonist
Gundam AGE's Hiyon Katsuragi draws Gundam UC: Niji ni Norenakatta Otoko
Author Harutoshi Fukui and artist Hiyon Katsuragi launched their Kidō Senshi Gundam UC: Niji ni Norenakatta Otoko (Mobile Suit Gundam UC: The Man Who Could Not Ride the Rainbow) manga in the 18th issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine on Saturday. The manga is an adaptation of Fukui's Mobile Suit Gundam UC novel and anime franchise. It is set immediately after the events of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack film and follows the growth of Bright Noa, the commander of three successive Gundam Newtype ace pilots. In addition to the manga, the magazine published an interview with Fukui.
Katsuragi also drew the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: First Evolution manga in Kadokawa Shoten's Gundam Ace magazine in 2011.
Beaten.
But, there's one detail they got wrong: the Unicorn novels had never shown anything about Bright in the 3-year gap; Hathaway's Flash briefly discussed Bright in the post-CCA years (from Hathaway's perspective). Essentially anything relating to Bright we've witnessed in the animation already, so this is entirely new (unless there's some changes coming in the final two episodes, in which Bright in post-CCA and pre-Unicorn is added).
Long preview will be out Friday (Feb. 15th) at 5 PM JST; the English-dubbed one will be up too shortly following that.
Well, that certainly played out significantly different from the novel version. Also, pink panoramic cockpit pods in the GR's Jegans.

The official website for the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE anime confirmed on Wednesday that production on Mobile Suit Gundam AGE Memory of Eden has been green-lit. This project will recompile the television series (from the Asemu arc onward) to focus on the characters Asemu Asuno and Zeheart Galette.
In the AGE anime, Asemu was the main character of the second generation with Zeheart as his antagonist. The television series premiered in October of 2011, and it ended on September 23, 2012. Shortly thereafter, producer Masakazu Ogawa mentioned the tentative plans for a new project featuring these two characters, and he revealed earlier this month that the project had "finally" been green-lit.
Gundam AGE episode director Shinya Watada is helming Memory of Eden at Sunrise with episode writer Noboru Kimura in charge of scripts. Other returning staff members include story supervisor Akihiro Hino, original character designer Takuzō Nagano, character designer Michinori Chiba, and musical composer Kei Yoshikawa. The project will reunite several of the cast members, including Takuya Eguchi as Asemu and Hiroshi Kamiya as Zeheart.
Previous Gundam and Sunrise series have spawned similar "Special Editions" compilations.
2nd gen was the only good arc anyways, Well besides Flit.
The Strike 2.0/Strike Remaster includes the battery rack (look at the upper-right corner) for the Perfect Strike configuration; you'll need the Launcher/Sword packs from the old 1.0 MG variant release: http://dalong.net/review/mg/m108/m108_p.htm. The old MG Strike Launcher/Sword kit should be getting a rerelease timed for when the 2.0 drops in May; since you'll have the old Strike 1.0 left over perhaps you can use it for damage practice or convert it into a Strike Dagger or Dagger L (if that conversion kit is still around).
Spoiler: show
The next RG is the RX-78 GP01; HGUC Zogok, Doven-Wolf (not sure if it's in Sleeves markings yet, haven't seen a scan), and Banshee Norn for March.

Well, ep 6 was as good as I was hoping. My only regret is almost another year now for ep 7.
