Ep.7 also includes some kind ofwith it; 180 min. run time is listed for Ep.7 (or is it combining Ep. EX in with the run time?).Code:Episode EX: 百年の孤独
I suppose it could be 90:90, though with how much more we have to cover in the final episode, 120:60 seems more likely (or something like that).
This issue is pretty much a SEED (Gundam) problem, across the MGs and RGs. I guess the old HGCEs didn't suffer from balance problems due to the hollowness/minimal parts count of the backpack parts.

TBH, I just rewatch them all anyway to keep things fresh in my mind in the days before the next installment arrives.
How the fuck do you paint this shit without fucking the model completely?
That head vulcan is literally the size of the tip of a .3mm mechanical pencil.
Gold Gundam marker?

Detailing brushes; for something that small you might need to go with a 20/0 brush that has a pointed (or chiseled) tip.

By the way, the 2013 Gunpla Expo begins tonight (in about 3 hours).

Spoiler: show
I don't know why, but for some reason I thought the Sazabi was going to have yellow beam weapons. So happy they're green. But man, it looks gorgeous.. I think I'm officially sold (wasn't that hard a sell, tbh..). Any word on whether it's going to have funnel effects or not?
The only thing I really dislike is that the details on the shield are a sticker, but everything else looks amazing so far. Kinda wanna paint the red parts white and do the yellow parts in a metallic orange.. Maybe do a bit more black or grey to it. Time to find a lineart!
Markings aren't stickers (actually, they've moved to dry transfers and waterslide sheets each now for the most part - see the Nu Gundam Ver. Ka.); no word yet on funnel effects (so get ready to buy diameter-specific heat flexible clear plastic rods and gel-type water modelling material) and it'd be too late now to be included in the kit next month.
Wait and see though; the event still has... two more days to go I believe. So the announcements are probably not over yet, and they may do a demonstration of the Sazabi as they did last year with the Nu.
Also, official site's first round of updates began: http://www.gundam-unicorn.net/en/ms/01.html
I want it now
That Nightingale is hot
Also, FUCK YES MG TURN X
Qubeley Papillon
Spoiler: show
sweet
Have to wait for the demonstration event that's apparently supposed to be Friday JST (so in a couple hours), but from what I can see in better quality images (like the below), the same type of hands (but in the Zeon-style) as the Nu.
Spoiler: show
That Nightingale-ish kit is kind of a kitbash of a variety of MS (like The O, Sazabi, etc.); that said it's a Gunpla Builders World Cup entry (from Japan) on display there. With utterly little else to go on besides what we saw, the modeller (assumed) the finished state of Full Frontal's new mobile weapon we saw in Ep. 6 would look kinda like that. Basically, we've all assumed they'd be drawing heavily from the Nightingale as soon as we saw it in the animation.. so it's a mystery for half a year yet.
Also the MG Build Strike is January, and Build Gundam Mk.II and that Sengoku Gundam Astray (which is going to be shockingly cheap) thing are February. So, as of this time we still have the following months unslotted for MGs in 2014: March, April, May, July, August, September, October, November, December. January: MG Gundam X, Build Strike; February: Build Gundam Mk.II, Sengoku Gundam Astray.
There's also a GFT version of the RX-78-2 3.0 in December that will apparently come with everything There's also some purple-pink MG Destiny Impulse Regenes affair joining a HGUC Silver Bullet and Byarlant Custom Unit 2 as online exclusives.
Was trying to get a better idea of the hands, and noticed in this shot that it looks like they included the beam saber slot in the wrist. I always liked that feature, but figured they'd drop it to make the arm sleeker. Pretty happy with that~

On an unrelated note, just saw the new weapons packs.. Damn you Bandai, make some 1/100 weapons >.>;
They keep faithful to the original designs, so you shouldn't worry about stuff like the forearm beam saber racks. lol
They've been holding off on this until the Build MGs are out - probably begin expecting an announcement by Spring 2014 (don't assume it'll purely be shit seen in the BF anime either - probably a line of UC weapon sets as well).On an unrelated note, just saw the new weapons packs.. Damn you Bandai, make some 1/100 weapons >.>;
By the way, the TL;DR on why the online exclusives aren't sold/shipped directly to North America/the U.S. is that the decisionmakers at Bandai don't feel confident in it being worth it (read: profitable) to set up a Premium Bandai thing over here.
That said, North America buys shittons of Gunpla and the totals have been growing at a reliable and steady pace for a couple years. They "monitor" North American sales carefully, and they're "always reevaluating" sales-based decisions for Gundam like they do with the S.H. Figuarts lines and the like.
Edelweiss, do you know if HLJ, or Tatsu, or really anyone else is planning a holiday sale? Wondering if I should wait to order the Sazabi or just suck it up now..
