I didn't know I wanted a gold MG Turn X before that last episode + seeing that prototype. Like the Hyaku Shiki gone wild.

To be honest, i'm expecting a timed online exclusive rerelease of the MG Turn A with Moonlight Butterfly effect parts, and a limited edition Turn X with the same..

It'd be pretty easy to do considering they are rolling it out + seem to want to push out alot of Builder models into the MG line. I didn't even know there was a MG Sengoku Astray until last week.

I can't afford models for awhile but that MG Build Gundam Mark II is just tempting me with its Zeta appeal.

Definitely, the GPBF line is doing quite well and seems to be appealing to... well, everyone. Admittedly, I haven't bought any GPBF stuff, but I have an excuse for that: vintage B-Club kits are fucking expensive. And that's ontop of keeping current with non-SEED and AGE MGs. If we get the Jegan or Geara Doga in the MG line this year, i'm probably going to break spending records (I always buy grunts in threes).

Also I guess if everyone wants me to update the Gunpla releases to include everything HG/MG, I can do that. Usually I just do the non-SEED/AGE stuff. The HGUC Zssa (with booster) was announced two days ago, and the next RG is the S-model Z'gok/later production type, for example.

I dunno.. the MkII looks really cheap to me. I keep wanting to want it, but then being reminded of how disappointing it looks..

It pretty much takes the Mark II and updates it in a non-UC way, the Super Gundam was really cluttered to me and I've been a fan of alot of UC designs starting from Zeta.

Bandai Namco Holdings, Sotsu, and Sunrise confirmed the three main projects that will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Gundam during a Thursday event. Episode 7 of Mobile Suit Gundam UC will play in theaters on May 17. Aimer will perform theme song "StarRingChild."

Gundam: G no Reconguista (Gundam: Reconguista in G), the franchise creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's major Gundam project since the 2005-2006 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam film trilogy, will debut this fall. It is set in "Reguild Century," the era set after the Universal Century, and it will follow the adventures of a pilot trainee named Beruri Zenamu in Capital Guard, an organization protecting a space elevator. The character designer is Kenichi Yoshida, and the mecha designer are Akira Yasuda, Ippei Gyōbu, and Kimitoshi Yamane. Yuugo Kanno is scoring the music.

Kidō Senshi Gundam: The Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Blue-Eyed Casval) will tell the story of Casval Rem Deikun and Artesia Som Deikun (Char and Sayla, before Char became known as the Red Comet) before the One-Year War in UC.0068. The four-episode adaptation of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's manga will debut in theaters in next spring.

It's good to see Episode 7 will still probably have Alberto ultimately trying to stop the powerlust-fueled, full output, bad ideas of Martha and Ronan Marcenas. Reconquista (assuming this got Spangished) looks like a cross of Turn A and Gainer, and feels promising. And if muh pre-order of Missing Link wasn't justified yet, it is now - they're even adapting the Rise from the Ashes manga-game revisions of the old Dreamcast storyline.

Also, I guess they may have just rolled the RoZ forces into the Sleeves for Episode 7, unless they're applying the Sleeves markings to their Gelgoogs and Regelgs out of solidarity.

Either way, JP-side of the official site is up-to-date. We still have at least one round of MS reveals to go, by the way. Should probably see some Rick-Dom Is too, but maybe they retired them in favor of the Galbaldy Betas they purchased from the Federation. Between them and the Hi-Zack, they're roughly the benchmark of post-OYW mass-production models anyway.

It's formerly known as G-Reiko when it was in pre-production years back (which was basically a take on the spelling of the word 'reconquista' anyway, in retrospect). Probably wait on whether or not it's actually still a far-future UC successor or not; it feels like a Turn A sequel more than anything so far. lol But as to it being a "big deal," yeah; a lot of people were anticipating The Origin to be the TV series, G-Reconquista to be the OVA/movie(s).

Also add in some Eureka Seven inspiration in the aesthetics/character design department too.

RG Exia has the Repair I parts as an Premium Bandai online exclusive (no surprise).

So since Reguild is in the era after UC, we're gonna see Old Man Usso with a junky looking V2 for nostalgia purposes, right? I don't remember how far in the future it states the new era is(if they stated it at all).

Or are we gonna just assume Kill-Em-All Tomino gave him cancer shortly after Victory and he died?

Description states it's after the UC era so whenever that is.

The original text implies it's like a successor to the UC, in the way UC is the successor to Anno Domini/Common Era. Problem is, that descriptor was also applied to Turn A.. which is a weird space-time thing of all preceeding series flowing into a single timeline, and is an AU series.

I wouldn't sweat it the details at this point, nothing is finalized.
