I've always wanted to go to a game in Calgary, I don't think it would be dangerous unless it was the playoffs.

It's a great atmosphere. The only part of the Saddledome that has annoying fans would probably be the cheapo $20 tickets that are sold from Safeways on gameday and are WAAAAAAY up in the nosebleeds. Those fans up there can be royal douchebags sometimes. But the vast majority of the fans are pretty awesome, like most cities I guess

Edit: About the playoffs. The worst thing that happened in Calgary during our big run in 04 was the "Shirts off for Kiprusoff" chants on the red mile. So if girls flashing their tits aren't really your cup of tea, you probably won't have a good time, lol.

Glen Gulutzen named Stars head coach. Hope he does well. Wanted Muller but have nothing against the guy, anything's an improvement over Crawford anyways.

Yeo as the Wild head coach is surprising, thought MacT was getting the job. Yeo shouldn't get so much shit for the Pens PP though, it's been through 3 coaches and has sucked no matter what. Thinking it's not the coaching..

Drury case sucks. Shouldn't hurt us too much though as he can go on LTIR at the start of the season, just makes our summer cap more tricky because Redden and Drury both count. We'll have to do cute little things to make it work, but they still have room for Richards.

I mostly see Red Wings, Chicago, Rangers, Vancouver, Flyers fans at Kings games.

There are Wings fans at every arena, only time it bothers me is when they wear a Wings jersey to a game where two other teams are playing lol

It's because anyone who could moved away from Detroit when it started to suck but still have that home town love, other people where raised on the red wings and other people who got in to hockey and since the red wings in the bast 20 years are the best, just like Lakers fans on the east coast.

Yeah they definitely travel well either way, Hawks kinda have their heavy spots instead of being spread out all over. There's massive amounts of Chicago transplants in Arizona, so typically a Hawks/Yotes game is going to have thousands of Hawks fans, but you aren't really going to see many at the Bell Centre.

They've already filed for Arbitration with him as well to prevent teams from throwing offer sheets at him until after arbitration.

Hopefully Weber's agent is better with numbers then he is with words.
