The twitter machine is saying that Philly and Bryz have a deal in place but can't sign yet due to cap space. Sounds like 7 years/50 mil or about 7 mil a season. Vancouver fans suddenly not as upset about Luongo contract.

Fuck man, this GM is failing everywhere, every fucking where. Kostitsyn gets 3.25m for playing when he wants to play, showing no interest in Jagr, and now they're going to give Markov the same pay he had for the past 2 years when he played in about half of the games 2 years ago, and played in SEVEN games last season? Theres no reason for him to not get a pay cut or something when he's had 2 knee injuries in 1 years time, and required surgery on said knee that took a year to rehab.

I'm not saying Markov is a bad D, far far from it, but I would have given him no more than 4m.
