^ that's pretty much why I don't buy games when they first come out these days. I don't like paying money to QA test games.

Well, im off to my first every Flyers thing. Rookie game vs the Caps.
Not the Kings, but hockey is hockey. At least I know one of the players, lol.
Will do. Hate to say it, I dont know much about the east coast teams since ive spent my whole life on the west and dont catch a lot of east games. lol
(and by that I mean I dont know their minor league teams and prospects as well)
I just DMZed my router and if shit starts getting screwy, I'll re-disable it.... my parents internet is so weird. Miss my T3 at college
I was gonna open the specific ports as I've done it in the past for uTorrent to run but I asked for chat support again, got another Indian (Satya) and she had no idea what the fuck I was talking about when I asked what the application name is for NHL12 on PS3 to trigger those ports....
TEEEEEEEMUUUUUUUhttp://a0.twimg.com/profile_images/1...umb_normal.gif @helenenothelen Helene Elliott
Teemu Selanne to return to Ducks. Just signed for one year, $4 million
Basically if DMZing it doesn't work, the problem has nothing to do with your firewall/ports. There's multiple freezing issues in the game, the ones that happen in the Be A GM simulation menus seem to be a HDD access issue, the ones like what you saw were server access issues, and then there's the actual mid-gameplay ones which are just shitty code shitting itself.
fwiw depending on what you play, DMZing your PS3 can still be very beneficial for online gaming. Unless you're specifically paranoid about someone hacking your PS3 through the internet which I'm not even sure is possible, it wouldn't really hurt to leave it set up since you've already done it.

NHL adds an official social media policy, no tweets/facespacing on during working hours basically:
was worried it might be something totally draconian, but this is pretty reasonableUse of social media by Hockey Operations personnel is prohibited on game day (including all preseason, regular reason and playoff games but excluding All-Star events or other exhibitions) beginning at 11 a.m. on the day of the game and ending after postgame media obligations.
Use of social media by Players scheduled to play in a particular game (including all preseason, regular reason and playoff games, but excluding All-Star events or other exhibitions) is prohibited beginning two hours prior to the opening faceoff and ending upon cessation of postgame media obligations.
Non-compliance with the preceding sentence may result in fines.
The baby looks a little Kariya-esque too, rofl.
nahhhh
Fucking Scandanavians.
I think every Ducks road game the crowd should give Teemu a "Teemu! Teemu!" chant.... its his last year and I don't think its possible for anyone in sports to be more universally liked than Selanne is.
OK BGFHLers.... please go to the league page and post the times of days and dates you are and are not available for a live draft.
Plan on the draft taking two hours.
ALL TIMES YOU LIST MUST INCLUDE A TIMEZONE AFTER THEM.
Got back from the rookie game. Flyers won 3-2 but was a good game over all.
Eakin, Orlov and Anderson looked good for the caps. Eakin will pretty much shoot from ANYWHERE and often. He needs to really work on his faceoffs though, I think he only won like 2-3 of them.
Couturier and Kessel looked for for the Flyers. Schenn didn't look good at all. Not sure if hes ready yet for the NHL.
Good to know about Anderson. He's pretty far down the depth chart, but he might get the starting gig in South Carolina (ECHL) this season.
They're trying Eakin out at wing too, I guess his faceoffs and strength on the puck are lacking at the NHL level but he's quite creative offensively.
Orlov's a beast but there's no room for him. He should help Hershey out a ton this year.
Eakin didnt seem to get pushed off the puck a lot. He is feisty though as anytime he got pushed around or down he would get right back into the players face.
For the first half of the game I thought Orlov was a forward because he was always right up in there on all the plays making things happen. At the same time though he always got back into position so it never really was bad for him to be very active in the offense.
