I'm going to be on the East server, think it starts with an A. That's where a couple people I know of are all going.

And thanks. I suppose that makes sense. I just figured they were going to give out free currency to 'test' it and then wipe it. That's what happened in Eden Eternal with the cash shop.

Read around and to get the wings apparently you need to do 3 dungeons every day and be level 24 at the end of the beta. Easiest dungeon takes like 5 minutes to clear so it shouldn't be that bad.

Reading around, according to a Dragon's Nest fan forum, the servers should be opening up at noon PST.

I was reading the Open Beta events and saw "Daily Empowerment Points" are they really keeping a stamina system in the game? Then are they going to buckle under pressure and remove it about 8months to a year down the road like they did Vindictus Tokens? I mean, I'll probably screw around on the game during open beta just on the off-chance that it is free NX.

From what I read, it's basically a stamina system but you can still keep playing when it runs out. Whilst you have points, you get bonus exp for running stuff, but when you run out you can still keep going, just less exp. They say it's "bonus exp" but it probably just means seriously reduced exp when you have none, lol.

Ya a lot of people think this to, I wouldn't be surprised if nexon lowered normal exp rates for this game. I know for sure though this game will become a grind at high levels though but I also hear its not that bad since there is a lot to do by then.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time they've done that. I remember hearing about DFO when it was first released with extremely lowered exp rates, fans found out, started a crusade against Nexon because of it, then they fixed it.

Yeah, that's how I see it.. probably really lowered exp without the bonus. I'm not too worried though. It'll just be a casual game for the most part, for me anyway.

So, friend of mine who was apparently in the beta said they removed the stamina system and just replaced it with the bonus exp you were talking about. Still, doesn't deny the fact it could be lowered exp just being covered up.
