Wow, thanks! I'll have to check some of this stuff out. And maybe not go to Ground Zero now.
Shits still worth a walk by. Just hit it up when you go to Battery Park or something. I recommend walking down Canal Street and get you an Asian hoe for the rest of your trip. If you feel like shopping go to either 125th or the Village where you can bargain the price in most of the stores.
We went to Battery park, WTC site, Brooklyn, Rockefellar plaza and Macy's today. Going to walk the Brooklyn Bridge early in the morning so its nice and cool out still!
You can take the C train into Brooklyn and I will walk you over to my local park and get you some group photos with a small army of tranny hookers.
that sounds.... odd to say the least.
BBQ Wings at Blondies on 79th. Fuckin wiiiiiiin.
I work next to WTC and yeah, it's a glorified construction site and quite honestly, there's nothing there for a tourist. There's a pizza shop called Portobello, really good stuff there and the owner is a cool guy. There's a jazz club around there cold BFlat too which is good. But seriously, only thing awesome next to WTC is J&R.
You should hit up Coney Island even though it's not as great as it used to be but it's still nice or if you're gay, not being funny(there's nothing but gays and lesbians there), visit Prospect Park in Brooklyn. They have 3 dollar randon shows there throughout the summer. Was lucky enough last year to go see Metric live.
Before you leave NY though, you have to set a day to work through Central Park, there's a lot of different scenery there and you have high chance of running into performances.
