I would play the Korean version or Japanese version in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that its hard for me to fully enjoy an RPG with ZERO dialog/storytelling. Even if the plots aren't as complex or engrossing as FFXI's, I would still feel pretty robbed from enjoying that aspect of an MMO. Hell, WoW is generic as it gets for most of their stories, but its still enjoyable, especially when you experience it with a group of friends.

No one agrees with this more than me. Although I think everyone who says graphics don't mean anything are fucking idiots, I can agree that if you can't read shit, it's not as fun, and no amount of graphics can make up for what is essentially, to us, a complete lack of dialogue. This coming from someone who plays TERA 60-80 hours a week.

Problem started when the addiction started, a la FFXI. I have been wanting to not re-sub for the last 3-4 months, yet it keeps happening. I still tell myself every day though; "I can't wait 'til this game hits NA." : (

^This. Having played it in English, I feel a good chunk of the game enjoyment is just missing w/o understanding the story. Can't bring myself to play K-tera on any serious levels. That and there's no way I could drag my friends into a non English version too.

And not being immature, but there is a pretty big sense of entitlement going around from those who play KTERA over those who dont to the point where you have to argue against ppl who don't want to play KTERA. I mean ppl change theirs opinions (i obviously did) but you had to fall back on something i sent you over a month ago to try and prove a point? I mean I sent you those PM's like months ago. I've gone over and checked this info out thoroughly, and it has been posted by Inven as well.

According to a BHS rep, in the first half of 2012, BHS plans to hold a 5 day Tera event just like they had in Japan, to kick off Tera in the west.

In the meantime, at the past E3 Tera has gotten over 9 awards from international game sites and magazines and they are now going to Gamescom.

Over at Gamescom, they will have new content to demonstrate for the fans, that is designed to make any Tera fan oo and aww. The BHs rep said" We want to make Tera a smooth and exciting experience for all".

Meanwhile over in Japan, Tera is going well and OB is set to release on the 8th. BHS hopes after after their plune in the Jpanese market, they will focus on targeting the overseas market.

Regardless of the info, the game is once again 6 months our so out from being released. Any info other than a concrete date has been proven to be useless.
