Very pretty game and not that demanding on the video card either. I don't even have things turned fully up and I get very minimal skipping(which I think is mostly loading in NPCs in town areas.)

I'm stuck on some quests, though. Two of them I see the things I have to do, but no idea how. Practice wood dummies that I can't seem to attack and some treasure chests just laying around

Use the quest bomb in your inventory while in front of the dummies.

What level is the chest one? Is it the one you can't abandon?

Welp, trying out classes/hairstyles one last time before the trial ends tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. eastern.

I can't decide on a class. I think it's a toss-up between Archer, Sorcerer, Lancer, Berserker, and Slayer all pretty evenly right now. Castanic definitely though, got my sliders and everything jotted down.

Heh, that's a big toss up. You can always make 1 of each! I think we get a total of 8 char slots.

Last one is a personal fav of mine. Was in the same position as you though, couldn't figure out which I liked best..and actually, I still like all of them pretty equally lol. Can guarantee you though, they're all fun as hell

depends if the accounts had +40hours time added to them, or if the servers were just open for free

I know for the KR client they actually ADD the time on top of your current time, so even if you got like 30days on your account you get an extra +2days at the end of it

That's by far my favorite of the bunch. Might be the way she's standing though. Very Mithra like standing straight forward like that. Archer isn't my favorite class of the bunch though. I would go with Slayer, but that's just me.

Got the bomb thing done. I'm not sure what level the quest is. I have a few lowbie ones left and I have no idea what I need to do for them. There is a field that has a few chests laying about it and they are glowy, so I assumed they were part of one of my quests. It's no worry if I don't get it done, I'm enjoying running around killing things. I just don't know where to go now as I can't find anymore quests.

Those chests I found were for a quest I just picked up now, soooo that's not one of the previous ones I had. Oh well.

Very sorry for the late reply, was stuck at work today. Tomorrow off thankfully so I can play all day until they kick me the fuck off.

I have two characters on 2 different servers:
(for some reason my friend couldn't select the top PK server I started out with anymore, they condensed the list to 3 to select from all of a sudden)

I don't think it's only 3 because the one I had originally made a character with wasn't on my friend's list that he could choose from.

Sounds about right.

12 in Korea, 3 in Japan, 10 or so in NA and 10 or so in EU? Gotta remember that Japan and Korea are fucking tiny in comparison to where the real money's at.

Seems my texture rendering went to hell when I went to the main city. Not sure what happened, but messing with the settings didn't seem to fix it. My armor went flat and shiney... I know it looks better than that.

I've just been playing the Berserker the whole time and I do like it. I haven't tried anything else out yet, though. I might in a bit, but I'd hate to burn myself out of the opening area making tons of classes to try them, lol.

Anywho, more screenshots. Mostly scenic ones. Any action ones I took came out horrible.

I'd expect KTERA to drop under 10 if the level cap raise doesn't bring back enough people (which it probably will, for awhile anyway)

ellion's almost a ghost town, recruitment never breaks page 1 at 58 now, majority of the time it's like 5 parties at a time unless it's peaking
pretty big difference from the constant ~3pages 2-3months ago

That's rather sad to hear. I do hope it does much better here in states if and when it is released. I'm really enjoying the different style of play but I hope it's not just a gimmick to get you in.

Just made another Elin. Liking her look a lot better. My first one I was kind of in a rush just to play so I didn't spend as much time as I normally do on creating a character. This one is an Archer. I also played with Amani character creation. Really love how badass they look. I'll upload the screenshot I took of the one I "desgined" later. Oh and of the new Elin.

hey xiani, i'm stuck trying to get into the game. is there anything i need to do to claim the free 40hrs? i read i'm supposed to login with the proxy up and then turn it off once the game starts. but all i get is an error message that i can't read =/

Wait a second I thought K-TERA had 15 servers? I know it went from 37 to 35 to 15, but I take it there was another recent merge down to 12? Yeah J-TERA is down to 3 and from the recent interview with 4gamer it seems they have been tackling the issues hurting them, but it seems a bit late. Better late than never I say.

Well if EU and NA is where the real money is at, why would they go for Frogster as a publisher EU. That makes no sense at all. Hopefully with EME, things get resolved soon.

@FriskUni: Why has the change been so drastic from 3 months ago? Is it because people have capped level rather quickly?

K-TERA was at 12 PK and 1 non-PK so 13 servers. To be honest, they should only be at about 7 servers, and fix their channel system. Game doesn't need more than 30 servers world-wide having channels.

And people started quitting because of the adjustments they been making to EXP. You can hit cap too quickly nowadays.
