What do you mean, do they Not move if you don't get within their range? Don't they constantly warp to him? What is it we should be doing at the start, just stand still and pull the boss to the mid?

Fight consists of 2 phases as far as we have seen. ogre in middle/bogies on outside and bogies and ogre in middle. tank ogre in middle during phase 1, pull him to the outside ring in phase 2.

from what we've gathered so far we haven't seen a spot on timing shift (like every 60 seconds or so), it's been more random. We had 3 attempts on him with 20 minutes left in the instance and each attempt they changed phases at different intervals each time.

We pulled him out of the room and they teleported to him during "phase 2".

we're about 18-20 minutes @ogre on average and we just blow through mobs

We got to him with about 25.

Just kill things fast and taking straight path to him.

AOE is so nasty.

Maybe we're wrong from limited sample size, but he doesn't seem to AoE if no one's behind him. Just uses the conal front punch.

Sounds like Fafnir all over again, sort of. Really hope there's more to it than just dodging bogys, not standing behind him, and grinding him down.

Seemed like Yoshi had some better ideas for raids/dungeons, and unless there's another boss or something, the R50 one seems like a bit of a letdown.

Unless, of course, this is just the first path, and clearing to the captain's room gives you the ability to explore elsewhere on future runs. I would like to remain optimistic, but it's stupid of me, going by how winning the R25 dungeon worked out for those who beat it.
