Okay, night time is fucking nerve racking for me. Its so scary! I just switched to Magic archer which is really cool. But I figured I'd stay out over night and take advantage of the ridiculous night time monsters. Walking along minding my own damn business and a fucking Chimera attacks me head on. Scared the fucking shit out of me. I really love this game so much!

Yay took down the dragon after I learned En-Blizzardga II, was still semi difficult but wasnt too bad. dropped some bones, claws, wyrm tear, and an amber scale? Says they're for crafting armor and weapons so I guess they'll just sit in the inn until I can find something that requires them to enhance.
Magick Knight seems pretty powerful (although I havent tried the other Magick classes) especially with the blocked damage -> heal ability. Ive been doing most everything with a normal healing mage, and some level 20some odd random persons tank pawn that I got attached to on the first day.

Oh god the Gryphon quest that takes you to Bluesomething Tower is amazing. Especially since you find Gryph's armor there. I gave it to my pawn and it's sweeeeet.

I hadn't had a Warrior in my party yet, so I picked one up. The damage didn't seem too awesome, but the pawn had some ridiculous passives. Does anyone know how far you have to level it to get the physical damage reduction passive? My pawn already have the magic damage reduction passive from mage, so she's just about ready to face tank the world. If only pawns could get the regen passive from Magic Archer, then she'd be unstoppable.

Hmm Viq, the only Augment I see regarding damage reduction is the Rank 7 one Temerity. Halves damage taken while charging an attack. That the one?

I wanna give shoutouts to Kaelan? And souj for providing with badass pawns. Keep making them badass as they've save my ass from making dumbass decisions with only recourse is the FFXI skills I learned almost 8 years ago.

Np, feel free to grab her whenever you need a healer or a mage DD. I just got her to Rank9 mage, found some better gear and updated her, she's a lot better now than she was before.

The gryphon is definitely not just a quest monster. I was just leavin' Gran Soren earlier and saw some guards fighting a bunch of goblins. I thought this was a little strange but I went to help anyways. The second I clear the goblin group a gryphon fuckin' SWOOPS in and takes out all of the guards that were fighting the goblins with me. My roommate and I wtf'd super hard before the gryphon tried to fly away with me on it's back.

Yeah, I just fought a gryphon that randomly showed up near the bandit's fort SW of the witchwood, while I was doing a quest there.

Worst thing is, I killed the gryphon without a lot of trouble (once I found out you could set it on fire), then 20 minutes later, a pack of 10ish bandits killed me cause it was too dark for me to see where all the archers were :/

I absolutely love Explosive Bolt (and now the upgraded Explosive Rivet) skill. Plant about 4-5 bolts all over this bad boy, then my two pawns take a few swings and he just explodes everywhere. So fun. I am still a little saddened by the power of most of the Magick Archer skills. I have a 3* Magick Bow (the only one in the game I have seen...) and my normal shots, with elemental buff, do more than most of my skills. The exception being if I am in that sweet spot, or if I have a few Rivets lit up at the same time.

My game of the year easy. I didn't get to play much last night. I did a few of the Gran Soren story quests. By far the most epic thing last night was doing a Selina escort quest at the same time as the Cypher quest. It was all up north of Gran Soren and I hadn't been up there at all yet. Mobs were difficult again and that was nice. OMG so many Harpies. Made it to Cypher quest, entered with sunlight still and when I came out (first screen up there) it was pitch black... and I still had to go quite a ways north for the Escort. Made it to a gorgeous drop off point for the Escort Quest which reminded me greatly of this:

Before you meet the duke, npc says all current tasks will be canceled. does that include notice board quests too? i don't have anymore standard "npc" quests left, but I don't know if I got all of them. Since there's a trophy for completing all "standard" quests, I don't wanna mess it up and the game's autosave scares me lol

Hmm, not sure Datanare... When I get to that point I may back up my save to the Cloud and then talk to the Duke and see if anything auto fails. Not sure if you have the means to back up your save or not.

The only quest I know that you can auto fail, is the Lost and Found quest that you get near or in the starting city. If you don't complete that in the Witchwood before taking the Pawn quest in Gran Soren (Into the Abyss) it will autofail.

Yup. No Twitter on 360. I don't have a lot of FB friends that want to see my Drogma spam, so I just created a group on Facebook and set changed the Dogma App's settings to only give access to that group. Solved.
