I need a haircut, trying to find a super short one I don't hate -- so tough! I am tired of upkeeping my haircolor, and I can only imagine cutting it off is the only way to return to normal

How do you feel about bangs Rich? I hated them initially, then fell in love, now I'm kinda ambivalent about them. When they're short, they look really cute when my hair is up. When they're long, I can flip everything over to the side, and see my whole face. I used to be self-conscious about my forehead (mostly my temples where my hair fell out, and subsequently grew back on HRT), but now, having full on, unobstructed exposure of my face is nice. I don't know to describe what I mean!

Yeah, hopefully it will grow back super fast. I was supposed to keep it short, much easier to dye when shorter, but I'm innately lazy. Not to mention that my husband prefers longer hair, and only mentioned his preference after it was cut, bleached, and dyed green. I've tried dyeing my hair my natural color when it was a more natural reddish-brown, that never works (tried using boxed dye, and 2 different hair salons) I can only imagine the freaky result if I try to dye what I have now, it will also destroy the inch or two of virgin roots that I have. When I was in college I had blue hair, tried dying in brownish red and ended up looking like a copper penny

I am afraid of bangs because I believe that it will cause my forehead to break out, no clue if that is still a logical sentiment now that I'm older... I have terrible skin. I used to be uncomfortable wearing my hair pulled back, but now I'm ok with it. My friend has bangs and the best advice is to buy a pair of hair scissors otherwise you need to go back to get trims twice as fast.

Bangs are really high maintenance for me. High maintenance being I actually have to do something as opposed to nothing. I do like the way I look in bangs though, it feels more professional.
