My "oh shit, I ordered a hat!" face.
I honestly forgot, now I wait for somebody to recognize the logo. It'll happen.
oh sicc, who made that?
Threw this slide in at the end of my powerpoint presentation for my Poultry Industry project (jokes on them though, it's a burger bwahaha)
Don't worry Roy, I still have the fro. This is an old pic.
I found this super old pic when I was going through some of my stuff yesterday.
I assume this is somewhere in the ballpark of 32 years old.
So, you have always had a nice rack.
Mostly lurk or post in Baseball thread, but proud of this.
Two years ago was 230lbs, didn't realize how much weight I had put on until my mother took a pic with my brother and me at my other brother's post wedding BBQ. I was always a thin person growing up and never noticed myself putting on weight with no one telling me I was. Seeing that made me change how I approached. Off and on over the next 2 years I worked (and relapsed) on my weight. I now go to the gym 5-6 times a week, balance my diet and run 5 days a week.
Spoiler: show
Down to 178lbs, still with a bit to go and some more toning to be done. But I can run a 5k again in under 21 minutes, which I haven't done in over 10 years.
*edit* first pic was far too large, edited to make the thumbnail instead
Wow, that's awesome! Good job :D
Me at the zoo observing primates, which are really awesome. Saw a bunch of other animals, but was there for homework(watching primates) mostly.
Went to a Ren faire with friends. Made this outfit for my daughter in three days beforehand:
She does not look thrilled, adorable as always though.
She looks potentially thrilled. That could be a cry or a laugh within 3 seconds either way.
You have very good taste in coordinating outfits.
She actually has a breakfast burrito in her mouth rofl.
Here is her dancing to a drinking song my uncle used to sing:
Also, thanks Maz! I actually really REALLY love sewing. If I weren't such a fatty (and fabric wasn't so expensive) I would probably make all of my own clothes. The white and black parts are actually left over extra fabric from her mary poppins outfit. (The white is actually a fake shirt since I didn't have enough to make a full one) My mom had sent me a few yards of that purple fabric ages ago because she had found it cheap, so I really just had to find the flowers to go with it.
She is so fucking cute~
I'd love to learn how to sew, would probably benefit from a sewing machine first though.
It's a lot of fun! When I was young my mom taught me how to read patterns. My friend helped me make my prom dress so I learned a lot of tricks from her, too. What really helped, though, was when I was in college I took a costuming class in the theatre department. They taught me how to drape, so now I don't need patterns anymore.
Some day I gotta get a dress form again (my old one is still in CT), because I can't drape myself!
I crochet, that's probably the closest I've gotten to making clothing for myself, and even then nothing very huge, since I prefer to make afghans.
I really want to be able to make costumes for Halloween. I'd love to take a costuming class or similar in college, but I have absolutely zero elective spots left since I'm a transfer student and I have only the core classes to take in my major. Maybe I could take a class on a Saturday at a local Michael's though. I can sort of read patterns and I kind of understand how they work, I've just never had a sewing machine so when I was like 18 I tried to sew something by hand, you can guess how well that ended.
sewing by hand is butt. I had to do her sleeves by hand since they were so tiny. I hate that shit.
She's definitely cutesy wootsy overload. Makes me wonder if lil'Ksan was as cute or cuter.
