kids these days.
god forbid you go more then a few hours without entertainment.
fuck's sake,
reflect upon your life or something.

Cause yea doing deep thought/meditation when driving for 20 fucking hours is the brightest thing you can do.
Can call sex hotlines or listen to porn.......just try it
Kids these days? THESE DAYS? Really?
I hate to date myself but I remember when I was young with my dad driving us places in a volkswagen minibus that had the fucking toilet in the back. AND HE HAD FUCKING BILL COSBY PLAYING ON AN 8-TRACK.
And John Denver...god damn did I have to listen to a lot of him....
Definitely not a current trend however.
Going to search through some of his stuff. He's a little to...flat for my tastes normally. No other obvious way to describe it. When he's funny he's funny, don't get me wrong. I've already downloaded some of his stuff, so we'll see.
Maybe across New Mexico. I'm not sure that I want to relive the rest stop scene from 'there's something about mary'. Also, it would mean I would destroy the friend I'm going to see once I get there, and I need his ass in shape for the rest of the week.
I really shouldn't even comment, Melena said it perfect but this is either
A: Obvious troll or
B: Has never driven solo across the south west.
I'm pretty sure I have a good solid 10+ hours of funny bullshit, which hopefully when combined with egregious amounts of caffiene will mean I survive until the sun comes up. Worst part of the drive is the night + nothing.
I agree, it's a great idea to reflect on your life while in a mindless drive because you'll likely miss something and bring that life to an end in an accident. At least you'll have reflected on it though.
Focus shifts to that instead of driving. When I drive, I want background noise to keep me centered and focused. If my mind wanders, I zone out.
reposting from RIT because it's fitting.
I've done that stretch. Amarillo was a ghost town (Sunday afternoon, seriously like....0 cars or people....anywhere) and the rest of the drive sucks ass. New Mexico can be pretty if there's funky weather around. Really nothing to see until you get to Flagstaff, though.
So I got there. Kevin smith podcast ftw. More later, cuz I got burned through everything I downloaded
