Only in act2 but so far my favorite change is being able to zoom the overlay map, holy jesus, (+ and - ) on numpad

the map changes showing you where you've gone with the thick blue line is nice too

Hyped for this:

1) Dope league mechanic (Breach 2.0 in effect)
2) Substantial skill/passive rework (e.g. Vaal Pact moved to Duelist area; opens up so many possibilities)
3) 12+ new skill gems
4) New series of item affixes that should shake up the economy nicely while enhancing your desire to pick up some rares
5) Huge changes to endgame mapping (32 new maps) + another ultra boss akin to Shaper
6) A fucking 5L unique ring



For the uninitiated, Path of Exile is entirely F2P (only thing I've bought are stash tabs and you don't need many). Plays like Diablo II (not III...) updated for 2017 with a pretty robust playerbase; can play solo forever or party up and smash shit.

I will definitely be playing Abyss league. Might try a cyclone pathfinder/raider to start. Then maybe a totem build after I get a bunch of currency flowing.

As one of the first comments points out. It is a good way to get around attribute requirements.

Ive gone through probably 300ish maps in the last few days, and I've never so much as seen the Trials of Lingering Pain... I've had each of the other 5 trials atleast 3-4 times a piece, but never the one i need to finish. Anyone have any tricks to getting it to pop? PC has chat 820, but the xbone has shit all

unfortunately there's no real tricks. it's all random. not having chat to ask/call out trials is a huge problem

Can try buying some trial prophecies off of people assuming console version has trading support. If it procs your map is guaranteed to have a trial in it

Outstanding, I didn’t even think of that. Didn’t know you could sell prophecies

The option to seal prophecies itemizes it for consumption. Costs silver coins. It's how some people are able to rush masters to lvl 7/8 so early in leagues.

Xbox economy is shit. Of all the folks online, only one map prophecy, and the person wants an exalted for it lol

Yeah, I would just resign yourself to a more casual playing experience on Xbox for now. Economy will never be that of the PC version's.

And just about a day until 3.1 launch (noon PT / 3pm ET). Mega-amped; already told the lady to head to Napa with her friends so I can geek out most of the weekend.

Anyone want to party up at all? I probably won't at the start since I want to get a currency farmer up and running. I may try some Spectre necro for my 2nd or 3rd build since they did have that QOL update a few months back that you don't lose spectres when you log and you can summon more via desecrate if your specs die in whatever area you're in since it counts as a corpse generated.

I was thinking of going Necro Spectre/Skele Mage build as my first for this league but I may pull a 180 and decide one a map farmer like flicker strike. Also just heard that GGG says there will be a "P2P" file share ready sometime tonight so we can preload the update.
