I am obsessed with this game right now. Just started; LV ~30 Ranger. Not sure how I even friend other people here, but would love to play with others. First unique dorp was a Tabula Rasa. 6L ftw; loving this thing.

Ugh I forgot how much I hate lvling lol. I always do duelist, can't go wrong with that. I need to get a char to lvl 80 or so, so that I can farm other gear and stuff. I have no knowledge of the new(ish?) vendors that allow you to enchant things with certain stats... I will have to learn that at some point. The old crafting system was atrocious.

Oh I remember the learning curve. I have a duelists lvl 90 83 74 on the standard server lol. Bunch of currency over there too, but it blows to play over there so I don't bother.

Seasonal is better and standards economy is ballsandwhich. I mean, there's legacy items and stuff, but ehh.

The buffs to EK are so nice. Lower mana cost, fast cast speed, and higher base crit. Wish I had started playing with it in Warbands instead of Tempest so I could go balls out on a crit build with it.

Idk what good with cast when damage taken anymore lol, it used to be super easy but now apparently enduring cry isn't proccable?

You can just manual cast EC, and still have IC linked to CWDT.

Having fun taking it slow on Tempest, had two deaths so far(to stupid things like being afk at that lol). Trying to do a CI icestorm scion.

Is it just me or is A4 a huge jump in difficulty over A3?
I have more trouble with packs in A4 than I do with bosses in A3. :\

Definitely not just you. I had the same feeling when I played.

I just got to A4 Piety and saw that laser... TP'd up and just closed the game.
Maybe later.

(I probably shouldn't be on HC for my first run through but I guess its what makes moments like that so thrilling but just a bit too much for me right now lol)

Yeah I'm not touching act 4 til I get to lvl 85 or so just to be safe. Started running maps now, so hopefully I'll be able to accrue some sort of wealth and buy some neato things. Apparently Mjollner is the new Soul Taker . Although I'm glad to know that my Bringer of Rain is the OG Legacy item :D I don't really plan on dicking around on standard though.

Started warbands because I was sick of losing my tempest chars to RL issues. lol Final A4 boss is fucking with my pc hard for some reason, nothing else in the game lags me remotely.

I've been getting some annoying lag.... I'd prolly be +2 lvls if it weren't for lag, but oh well.

I'm the opposite. 2.0 has been amazing for me from a lag standpoint. When they added Lockstep, they also did a lot of work to make Predictive mode smoother. Then they beefed up the Singapore gateway about a week ago. Now I always have a ping around 100-120, but the modified Predictive mode makes it feel great. No more desync around doors, or random mobs following me around, or having to mash a /oos macro. Before this patch, I had never seen a ping below 220.
