I base it on the amount of characters present (and in pchans case, including the amount of characters you relog around). I 3box lots of shit, but I dont go around telling people I'm soloing.


TH whore or bard mule who just gives double marches are still additional buffs/debuffs present that alter the course of the battle as well as its results. If that TH mule werent there on Carabosse, would you fight it MNK+WHM/THF or would you change the /THF to a more useful SJ?

It was more about pchan's ADL # claims, and also to illustrate that even something as small as "just putting double march and then hiding in the corner" still offers buffs that werent there.

At the end of the day, I think people with a superiority complex will claim multiboxing as soloing because it makes them feel better about themselves.
