I'm as pro-/SCH on WHM as the next guy, but even I can agree that /BLM is useful. If it's not level 45+ though, gtfo.
/BLM is for convenience/occasional ES enfeeble. D2s are always useful on that. And by god, I do expect /BLMs to know they have Stun. Yes, I say that knowing Instant Warp scrolls are 10CP; it's an amazing habit to have, but I do not expect everyone to do the same thing, a lot of players do prefer the lazy route back to town.
/SCH is for making the most of the WHM job in itself, this shouldn't even be a debate really. I agree in VW the use of it can be rather limited since temps make everything easy. MP management? Who needs it when people spam temps to minimize damage taken? I could do that with no sub.
Against anything serious in this game that cannot be made easy with temps I expect every serious WHM to /SCH, I don't give a fuck about convenience in this case, I care about efficiency and no sub has /SCH beaten on that. Alas, this is related to Voidwatch, so really, I don't care, as long as they aren't /RDM. /SCH or /BLM or play another job.
And yes, /SCH is the sub to use for BLM (or /DRK for absorbs). BLM/RDM is worthless in Voidwatch, in fact it should only be used as a solo subjob at this point in the game, you do get more subbing SCH in general and only lose out on 5% Fast Cast.

Far as whm, I think I can sum it up I prefer whm/sch, but I -always- whm/blm d2 eseal para, its just convenient, and the arguement about whm/sch being able to helix, is THE EXACT reason im pissed about blm/rdm. helix is blms job to cast, not the fuckin whm with the wrong sub, because you're to gimp to have the right sub.
Matter of fact, I've fucking subbed sch on blu, on cor, on god damn drk, cause all the gimp blms didnt have /sch. It really gets under my skin seeing in party chat "can someone sub sch". That should -never- need to be said.
