    189 new dats for me.

    graphics wise, they added a bunch of TP move animations.. some are from heroines holdfast, some from the new mobs seen in the dats recently..
    theres claw animation (yeti and mole?) and some rock based ones (which includes a gatling/machine gun one lol) and some other element based ones..

    and finally, theres NPCs.. the heroines.. Lion's combat model is pretty cool. Nashmeira's is just super cute lol.. also a new treasure chest model (for which we've seen the mimic version)

    I'm not home now so I'll check later if no one else does first, but I would suggest getting on RDM, popping some high level Voidwatch NM, and trying to cast stuff like Gravity, Silence, Bind, Break, Sleep, etc. before you get eaten.

    There will be an extremely large amount of monsters where this system will be applicable, so we will be spending some time adjusting each of them. For the next version update we will be adjusting regular field monsters and the NMs in Legion and Voidwatch. After this we will be adjusting NMs for other content as well as field NMs.
    So are they saying that this test update is for adjusting regular mobs/legion/voidwatch right? The way they word it is confusing.

    There are certain things that will go into the dialogue zone files of *every* file, regardless if they will ever use them. The text that is universal to every zone goes into the upper half, while the zone specific stuff goes in the lower half. So it doesn't neccessarily mean anything. All of the Chocobo breeding and NPC fellow text is in every zone for example even though they won't make use of them.

    Just kinda weird it's all of the past, and Yughott as the only present zone.

    Popped Ig, alternated para1/2 until 7 resisted, got this, then died after 5 more para's later that all still resisted.



    Tried with a full out enfeebling setup I currently had on me, which gave me 519 skill. Going to try some more later with some MND as well.

    [EDIT] Either they never localized the message that says a mob is immune, or I have a super slim chance of landing Break/Bind/Gravity/Sleep on Voidwrought.

    [EDIT2] Grav2 landed. Shit taking so long on a Ch1 T4 mob that this is laughable and doesn't help either RDM or WHM/BLM/SCH's enfeebling situation at all. This mob would have been long, long dead before I got para to land. All break messages been "Immunobreak", not seen a change at all.


    [EDIT3] I'm done here, after 10min I proclaim victory with a full duration this. And then it started resisting 99% as usual after it wore, as if the Immunobreak effect stacking (I'm assuming it stacks) 'resets' every time you successfully land something.


    Fucking useless change.

    I only skimmed through it since I was in a hurry, I saw some words like meteor and arise and thought it looked interesting.

    There is some text indicating the start of the dungeon crawl stuff implementation, though.

    They mentioned that the immunity messages will not display on test server yet. Go give them feedback on the test forum and tell them how weak it is. I tried some stuff on some regular mobs and ran in and did some suicidal casts on legion mobs. I didn't get any interesting results.

    I lost track. Enough times for Fafnir at 75 cap to start resisting it flat out. Granted I didn't have Ascetics up during it since you can't really get temp refresh easily solo.

    I need to do more testing later to determine immunobreak's potency and confirm if it does stack. Should be easy to check though, spam something like break until you get X number of immunobreaks, check a round of hard-to-land debuffs, rinse & repeat until some sense of it can be made.

    I'll consider it once I get some actual numbers down as to how bad it really is. First impression showing the system as useless, unless you want to get your WHM, BLM, and SCH all spamming a particular debuff together to try and land it, rather than a single job.
