Saw I Am Mother recommended here, checked it out tonight, my SciFi bone was pleasantly tickled. Great flick, still rooting for more of this genre and level of quality.
Fam what do I watch? On my days off I'm home with the baby while the wife works and I'm not a big TV/stream person. While feeding/burping the baby I've watched all of The Office and Jack Ryan on Amazon prime. Friend trying to get me to watch parks and rec next but idk, the office was hard to get through at times. Also I don't like scary stuff so idk about stranger things.
I've got Netflix and Prime, gonna watch Chernobyl on a friend's HBO, but after that idk what to watch.
Stranger Things isn't scary.
HBO:
Big Little Lies is good, second season just started.
Crashing is a decent comedy series
Los Espookys is a Fred Armisen collab that's mostly in Spanish, but it's also pretty good
Prime:
Sneaky Pete was good. We got distracted when the baby was born and never finished the second season, but we enjoyed it.
Hulu:
Ruining History
Buzzfeed Unsolved: True Crime - Both of these have two of the same guys. They're quick 15 min episodes highlighting a specific subject. Ruining History is fucked up things about famous figures from history. True Crime are unsolved or otherwise questionable crimes.
What kind of shows do you generally like to watch? Netflix has a few good food shows.
Netflix has nailed it which was a fun pastry cooking game show. I believe it's Netflix that has all the Anthony Bourdain parts unknown episodes as well that makes for decent background noise.
Hulu I watch a ton of archer, Rick and Morty, family Guy and American Dad. You can get the basic pay with commercials bundles with Spotify for 6.99 a month, so it's cheaper than the other streaming options as well

By the way, have we heard anything on when the last season of Better Call Saul is coming to Netflix?
TPB animated was meh to me.
actually i keep meaning to give that a shot, a lot of their side project things are a bit hit or miss for me, big fan of the core show though, i will have to watch that tomorrow
Oh shit, that reminds me.
Letterkenny on Hulu is great. Another Canadian comedy show.
If you like cooking/food shows, check out Salt Fat Acid Heat and Street Food on Netflix.
Yeah I heard that about the show.
Idk what I like is my biggest problem lol. I've watched all of house NCIS the office and our TV's at home are pretty much chopped and sports center/around the horn all day long. Jack Ryan was good. I like the marvel movies but most of those tv shows look like they suck. Friend tried to make me watch arrow and the one with the bullet proof black guy and arrested development and I hated those.
New Girl is similar to Parks and Rec in that the first season leaves a bit to be desired, I don't mind S1 of either show but they both def pick up around S2. People sleep on New Girl cause of Zoey for w/e reason but the 3 dudes on that show are fucking hilarious
Have you watched any of the Marvel series? Personally I haven’t watched Iron Fist (never will) or the latest Jessica Jones (will watch at some point) but Daredevil is worth a looksee (season 1 at least).
Animal Kingdom looks like the hottest of hot garbage and I am very sorry for you. This coming from someone who has seen every episode of Midsomer Murders.
anyway, I started FNL last night and it's pretty good. I'm annoyed they dropped the EITS and Daniel Lanois soundtrack after the first episode and replaced it with garbage.
This is actually even better than the soundtrack version. I feel like this is a small intersection of music that both Day and I could like.
