Guillermo del Toro Announces Expanded Trollhunters Universe

Netflix’s Trollhunters is apparently the first in a trilogy of shows set in the same universe and all taking place in Arcadia. DreamWorks’s Tales of Arcadia trilogy will continue with 3Below in 2018 and Wizards in 2019.

3Below will be the story of two royal teenage aliens who flee a hostile takeover with their bodyguard. The three crash-land in Arcadia and struggle to blend in while also avoiding bounty hunters and trying to repair their ship.

Wizards will bring together the worlds of trolls, aliens, and wizards who are all hiding out in Arcadia and will culminate in a battle for control of magic that will determine the fate of all of the supernatural worlds.

Season 2 of Trollhunters drops on December 15.

BREAKING: Netflix Will Produce Sergio Pablos’ 2D Feature ‘Klaus’

The internet streamer announced this afternoon that they have acquired global rights to Klaus, which will mark the directorial debut of veteran animator (and Despicable Me co-creator) Sergio Pablos.

The quirky holiday comedy tells the (non-canon) origin story of how a desperate postal worker inadvertently invents Santa Claus.

Voice cast is headlined by Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, J.K. Simmons, and Joan Cusack.

Netflix is planning a Christmas 2019 release.

Zumbo's Just Desserts


it's like Hell's Kitchen but with desserts, and it has a decidedly Willy Wonka flair. you pretty much know from that sentence if you want to watch it or not

overall it's fantastic, obviously. far better than Zumbo's show. the only pro to Zumbo's show is that it's whimsical and focused more on artsy, modernist desserts that look fantastic (or ugly depending), where as the Great British Baking Show is mostly focused on classic baking including a lot of non-dessert items. some of the compositions on Zumbo's show are just mind-blowingly beautiful and intricate and weird. but overall GBBS is infinitely better; I'm in love
