I really like the first episode as a "series" but it also had a beautiful story arc on its own. A series would probably not do it justice. These writers and animators need to get their ideas and talent into big screen and series development.

Just watched all of LD+R. Some really stood out as extremely good to me.

A lot of them felt like final projects for art student demo reels, with the possibility of some later outside enhancement. The Zima Blue one probably felt like the weakest of the bunch to me, while the fridge one was probably the most out of place with live actors. Kinda had a hard time caring about the rednecks vs. zerglings, too.

I personally thought Zima Blue was the best of the bunch and farmers in mechs was near the top too. I do agree the topher grace one didn't feel like it belonged.
