The babysitter was far more enjoyable than I thought it would be, but I went in expecting trash.

Every single scene between the kid and the jock was just fantastic flat out 10/10 for all their scenes. Rest of the movie was super uneven as you would expect.

Most stuff outside of the killer's interviews is fairly lacking though imo. By that I mean the relationships and the bureau, really enjoyed the Altoon murder arc. Nothing noteworthy camera/sound/scene wise as far as I could tell

Finally getting around to watching the second season of Last Chance U. Pretty good so far, sucks that season 3 will be a new school. Also, looks like one of season 2's stars, Isaiah Wright, committed murder earlier this year. Shame.

1922 and Gerald’s Game we’re both good for sure. I also watched all theee of the Cube movies. If you like Saw you’ll be into those. Never even heard of them lol. They’re so bad but fun I guess.

I watched Cube > Cube Prequel > Cube 2. I’m not sure if that’s the intended watching order but it did kind of set things up nicely for there to be somewhat of a narrative.

I think the premise is ok but you can definitely tell it’s a 90’s/00’s style film. I think if they had fleshed out a specific purpose it would’ve been more satisfying. There’s a loooot of dialogue that eludes to connections between the people in the Cube that falls flat or is never referred to again. It plays off like something much bigger is happening and it doesn’t reveal any of it. And that’s typical of film in that time I feel. Just shot story telling.

I’m excited for the new one if it’s a complete remake. Don’t keep any of the same story or character elements and start fresh and I’ll be down. If there’s an autistic mathematician I’m out.

I saw the Cube series a long time ago and I liked Cube and Cube: Zero. I didn't care much for Cube 2 though because it felt less grounded than the first one and the traps seemed like literally anything could happen from what I recall.

3 episodes into season 2 so far and it's pretty hilarious (not on netflix yet, probably same as 1st season, it'll show up at once when it's done). Alan Tudyk's character seems like he's gonna be a lot of fun. And John Hannah, not sure what his deal is yet.

I watched it on Netflix last year and it was a wild ride. I'm watching the new season too and you pretty much can't predict where the plot's going to go, which is great.
