I know the answer probably is "Because that doesn't generate enough money" but don't we have yearly drives to keep the site up? Not that it's all a big deal, but ad revenue doesn't make all that much sense with the information that the bulk of the users get.

BG has been trying to monetize for awhile now. They're making attempts at SEO and making money. I can't blame them, but it is what it is.

ffxiah's image thread has about 1 funny pic per 30 pages after they made changes due to ad revenue issues. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen here. Along with coffee, the newspaper, and the Black Crowes, this thread is usually how I start my day and I think a lot of us are in the same boat.
