The best mod I found when I played this was one allowing party members that are out of combat to gain sp instead of having to swap everyone in all the damn time. It really helped the flow of the combat.

Yes I did see that and will look that up. I'm planning on playing tonight hopefully. Finally finished setting up my server PC with my large storage drives.

Oh good deal. Any opinion about X-2? I played that a shit ton more than X. I thought the combat and overall game play was fantastic. I never did get 100% on it. I may purchase the strategy guides for nostalgia purposes (had them years ago).

Over time I appreciate X-2 way more.

It's combat system was always one of the best in the series, but as I've gotten older I've learned to fully appreciate the cheese of the storyline and girlpower

Yeah I just go with the cheese since the entire game is so fun. Any mods I should be looking at or is it the same mod as X?

I loved X-2 when I came back to it as an adult on emulator, but I can't get the PC remastered version to run well at all. Just walking through Besaid in the early game is a chore when it takes 5+ minutes to load monster encounters. I couldn't do it. Any of y'all run into similar issues and manage to work through them? I do have Untitled X installed.

Those 2 Impale spamming robots and the Pernicious Powder flower. Can beat any fight in the game including any boss in any cup (obviously not including Cactuar cup for obvious reasons).
