So, you're trying to tell me GE, Viacom, News Corp, Disney, TimeWarner, etc. would have no motives in blacking out dissent on WALLSTREET? I want to know what kind of shit they're really serving at those Oxygen bars.
I dunno, I work here and I watch them out of my window when I'm bored. it really is a bunch of kids milling around, shouting memes and wearing guy fawkes masks. they outnumber the frustrated-looking old people like 10-1, and there's only a few hundred out there now at most. it's really not a news story. :/

There is definitely alot of youth, but there are many non-Anonymous kids out there as well. The crowds organization has been really inconsistent as of late, it seems the police are making it a point that they need to be spread out. I don't think anyone is ready to risk jail to obstruct or disrupt Wallstreet(which is the only way people will give a shit lol), so it really does look half-assed on the outside.

Also, saw this headline before I made my post from today, coincidentally:
The internet giant Yahoo has come under criticism, meanwhile, after reports surfaced it had blocked messages related to the ongoing protests on Wall Street. On Monday, the company apologized, saying the blockage was unintentional and has been resolved.

I'm sure the other 19,700 people they expected were severely deterred because of this.

You quoted it. I'll rephrase. Because some of the people are there just to troll, they're having a hard time getting the kind of publicity and respect that they want.

I'm not sure how you got any of the rest of that out of it.
i'll also rephrase. i'm not really talking to you specifically, you could have been championing the whole thing on 2nd page when i posted earlier. what i meant by the don't take it personally. just the attitude that was portrayed by yours previous to that one as well as a few other random negative posts.

    Spoilered for spam:

    Spoiler: show

When I got out of that meeting I was a little upset cause I didn't see many protesters. Must've been like 40-60 people or so idling around making signs. I started to take some pictures of the area and then about 15 minutes later I hear some clapping and drumming in the distance. Fairly big group of people marching back into the park:

Way more signs out there than on Monday. I think that is catching the attention of people walking by more than the actual protesters.

That one sign that says "50000 in debt after school. Where are the jobs?" struck a cord with me. I can relate a bit.

Did anyone else catch the female representative clip showed on msnbc live (I think) of the lady talking about how you're distributing your goods on roads we all paid for, hiring workers educated via everyone paying, etc.?

I can't remember who it was and I want to find the original to post it for Gad.

because it's a better way of putting what I was trying to explain to you about how no matter how bad you had it, if you were successful, it's because you were born into a situation that allows for it

you sat there trying to say that because I was born into better than you, I clearly don't understand how terrible things were for you and how you did it completely on your own... try telling that to someone in Somolia, or even Mexico

he was born rich and supposedly ~rejected~ it, just because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth doesn't mean the rest of us were

it is absurd to hear a rich kid say you can't find success unless you were born rich

I think it's safe to say that this is the age with the most upward mobility of any time period in history, most likely
