They probably figure if it's off air enough and spaced about schedule wise, people will stop watching and give them a reason to can it due to low ratings.

Little do they know, YJ's fandom is fucking insane.

It worked for both Transformers Animated and Thundercats, I doubt Young Justice will fair any better. DC has to move it's shows to a new network.

In fairness Thundercats was pretty bad.

Glad this is back enjoyed the newest episode and the League getting trolled at every corner by the Reach. Hoping it least sticks around uninterrupted this time. I've given up hope on a season3 but would least like to see this season end without another break.
