Monk gets Kick Attack III trait somewhere between 91-99. I wasn't around for the 91-95 cap increase so can't rule out those levels and unfortunately there are not fortifications on the test server or I would probably go level by level there.

    3114 kicks in 21077 attack rounds= 14.77% kick rate
    Confidence Interval: 14.29-15.25
Estimated trait value to be an additional 2% giving monk a pre-merit KA of 15%.

If you don't mind, I'd estimate this at 96, because that's when they bumped up DA/TA.

Are there any high level DRG mobs in which to test Critical Defense Bonus on? Assuming CDB scales up the same as CAB , DRG should get CDBIII at 99. DRG gets CDBI at 80 and DNC gets CABI at 80 and DNC scales up to CABIII at 99. Since DRG got no other noticeable trait bonuses at 96-99(No Conserve TP or Acc/Att Bonus boosts), I'm hypothesizing that DRG most likely got CDBIII at 99, the same level DNC gets CABIII at 99. While I'm not deducing this from testing, it is kind of inferred by the fact that DNC and DRG both share Accuracy Bonuses at 30/60/76, so it could very well be that we share CAB/CDB growths as well. To confirm we'd have to see if DRG type mobs that are level 99+ take -11% damage from critical hits, assuming of course that CDB scales the same as CAB whereby CDBI is -5%, and scales up by plus -3% CDB per tier all the way up to -14% for PLDs which most likely have CDBIV since they get CDBI the same level THF gets CABI.

Might be able to test this in Ballista. Sneak Attack a 98 DRG then Sneak Attack a 99 DRG. There should be a 3%(CDBIII) difference in damage between those. Additionally we could test Sneak Attack vs a 79 DRG and a 80 DRG to see if there is a 5% difference in damage (CDBI)

Irrelevant old monster now, but I remember a big discussion way-back-when about whether Pod Ejection off Proto-Omega was timed or TP-based. It's time based, it seems

    Code:
    [19:46:59]Proto-Omega misses Byrth.

    [19:48:59]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
    [19:49:19]Byrth uses Evisceration.
[19:49:19]The Gunpod takes 846 points of damage.
    [19:49:20]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.

(He stood up for the first time)

    [19:50:26]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
[19:51:36]Byrth hits the Gunpod for 54 points of damage.
[19:51:37]Byrth hits the Gunpod for 104 points of damage.
    [19:51:38]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.

    (He crossed 25%, I think)

    [19:52:38]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
    [19:52:59]Byrth misses the Gunpod.
[19:53:00]Byrth hits the Gunpod for 113 points of damage.
    [19:53:00]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.

(Switched to OA2-4 single-wielded, fed TP like crazy. Still, 5 minutes later:)

    [19:58:04]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
    [19:58:20]Byrth uses Exenterator.
[19:58:20]The Gunpod takes 1617 points of damage.
    [19:58:21]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.

(Turned around, screw having to stun TP moves, joke is on me though because he has some weak regain. 5 minutes later)

    [20:03:22]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
[20:03:46]Byrth hits the Gunpod for 49 points of damage.
[20:03:47]Byrth hits the Gunpod for 64 points of damage.
    [20:03:48]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.

    (5 minutes later)

    [20:08:51]Proto-Omega readies Pod Ejection.
    [20:09:07]Byrth uses Exenterator.
[20:09:07]The Gunpod takes 1488 points of damage.
    [20:09:08]Byrth defeats the Gunpod.
    I was using the OA2-4.

30 minutes, assuming the initial two pods take <5 minutes you could assume another 5 pods for 7 total. That'd make about 15 ABCs, two crappy synth materials/AF1+1 items, and 2 more chips to come back. Considering how crappy and useless Homam is these days, I'd say it's not worth using the chips even if you have them.

From what I remember it was time based from when the HP breached 25%, but before that was HP based (I think it could fire one off at 75% or something odd, maybe when it changed stances, can't recall.) If you wanted the most pods possible, then the best way was to get its HP below 25% before 3~4 minutes or so had passed, and then hold it at 5% or whatever until the 28~29 minute pod popped out, then kill both.

Yeah, I thought it was fairly common knowledge to anyone that farmed omega, 1 pod pop at 75?% and then timed under 25%.

Would it be possible to use test server and KParser on VWNMs (thinking Bismarck or Povenance or Legion) ?

asking because then, assuming enough sample size and each participant used no gear swaps and fixed attack/accuracy/stats/0buff, the numbers accu% and dmg spread from those parses would allow to get exact eva/AGI/Def/VIT of those VWNMs ?
EDIT: and also would see if those NMs' stats evolve with HP decrease?

But i don't know if Kparser work and if it's practically feasible (any god mode?) on test server ?

You would have to use Fanatic's drink for VWNM and do one minute parses. KParser works there fine, but it would be very hard to collect any kind of reasonable sample size.

2-3 MNK with HF or capped haste can get a lot of attacks in in that minute, no?

Testing Critical Defense Bonus on lvl 99 Bluffalo.

Dnc/War. Parse only active while Berserk was up and fighting EM Bluffalo.

Vs 118 vit, fStr caps at 166 str using Thokcha daggers. Str at 227+.

    RR atma
    Crit rate: 25% + 30% = 55%
    Crit dmg: 30% + 11% (trait) = 41%

    Stout Arm: 40 str/ 50 Att
    Alpha&Omega: 50 att, 10% TA

    Att: 1035-1071 w/Food+Berserk

    def: 516
    2x def = 1032

    Capped attack.

    Code:

            455: 1
            461: 1
            462: 1
            464: 1
Ignore the 400+ ones from set proc

3.0 appears to be 228 dmg
    228 * 1.05 = 239
240 is max; rounding accounts for the diff

    Base damage: 47 + (8+5) = 60

    3.0 with no crit modifications: 60 * 3 = 180
    3.15: 180 * 1.05 = 189

    Known crit dmg+: 41%

    180 * 1.41 = 253.8
    180 * 1.05 * 1.41 = 266.49

    Actual range multipliers:

    228: 1.2667 to 1.2722
    240: 1.05 * 1.2699 to 1.2751

    Combined, between 1.2699 and 1.2722, or +27%

Crit defense bonus (assuming additive with Crit attack bonus): -14%

    180 * (1 + (41% - 14%)) = 228.6
    189 * (1 + (41% - 14%)) = 240.03

Critical Defense Bonus for lvl 99 Pld (and lvl 99 Bluffalo): -14% (probably tier 4 of trait: 5%, 8%, 11%, 14%)

Yay! My conjecture that Critical Defense Bonus's potency is equivalent to Critical Attack Bonus was right on the money then! So yeah the growth is probably the same and DRG PROBABLY gets CDB3 it at the same level that DNC gets CAB3 since DRG and DNC seem to share patterns with other shared traits like Accuracy Bonus.(Still a meaningless trait upgrade for DRG, would have preferred Attack Bonus III), why do DRG's have Crit Defense Bonus anyway? -_-

Did you melee a crab that was *not* the target of the stonega, but rather one of the ones hit by the AoE?

I targeted the spider with Stonega => Removed TH Knife => Targeted the Crab. The additional crab you see was a link untouched by Stonega.

Tested Puk TP with Kameko. Puk TP gain from Element Damage matching Dy is ~100TP. That means your damage "forces" the TP move rather than the mob simply having 300% TP (Though this is possible if you do the elemental damage within a window like QAing Enfire or w/e).

    Just to clarify the method:
Sudden Lunge > Hit with Enfire > Sleep while the mob is stunned > 2hr + Sudden Lunge > Hit and drain TP

Since the enfire will force the mob to TP, you have to keep the mob stunned (Or proced) during the strike. The second stun is to avoid the mob using a TP move after awakening from the enfire hit.

Not sure if this is known but in NW Apollyon, Cynoprosopi can be DRASTICALLY weakened by killing the other wyverns on the floor. I went to solo as BLU/NIN and tried fighting the Wyrm first and got trounced. I was hitting him for 30-40, CDC for 400-500. The Wyrm was attacking extremely fast, very accurate, hits for 500 with 700-800 crits. After killing all the wyverns and reingaging him I found his attack speed to be drastically slower, his HP lowered, as it took me 10 minutes to get him to 30% when Wyverns were alive, when wyverns were cleared, I killed the wyrm in less than 2 minutes with minimal effort(800 CDC took off like 6% of his HP before, the second time it did more than 14%. I can provide some screenshots in a bit. Couldn't find anything on wiki pages confirming it, though it's 'rumored' on otherwiki(edited it 10min ago to reflect findings).
His HP was definitely reduced because I was hitting him just as hard but he went down far more quickly.

    Before killing all the Gorynich.

Was directed to a jp page with stats for a number of mobs. Primarily Vit and Def, but some Agi and Eva.

    http://www7b.biglobe.ne.jp/~fit/memo/st.htm

I'm considering adding at least some of them to the spreadsheets. Someone may want to add the data to wiki pages, or wherever it would be useful as info for a testing reference.

Those Hydra defense numbers look reasonable compared to my experience with them, and it makes me suspect that the current spreadsheets' defense values are substantially lower than reality.

Has anyone tested if Windshot enhancs Angon? Haven't read anything about it. Also has it been tested if more than one enfeeble can be enhanced via quickdraw on the mob at the same time? Like casting Dia III and Angon on a target then using Lightshot and Windshot, if the two shots would enhance Dia III AND Angon, or can only one enfeeble be enhanced by Quickdraw at a time on a single target?
