The Dynamis DC mob values are a rough approximation of checking a number of Nightmare mobs (data from diasetsu, I think). The Hydra mobs (Dynamis Beaucedine) are an entirely different beast, even though they're technically also "Dynamis DC". I should probably adjust the naming in the spreadsheet.
Bismarck has some sort of thunder SDT. I did 21 DMG thunder shot with a 150MAB and 306 base damage. This would have to be a 1/16 reduction to achieve that value.
Looks like Displacer does affect level.
Ranged Attacks: 166
Flashy Shot (1 Merit): 166
Any issues with this test?
Edit: Ig Alima and 5 Displacers
See edit. Ig Alima is LV120 already.
With 4 Displacers, the damage didn't change significantly either.
Ranged Attack: 151 > 161 > 161
Flashy: 157
Looks like 3 Displacers leaves him a few levels above you.
Ranged Attack: 122 > 124 > 125
Flashy: 156
Oh I see thought it said didn't affect lvl as well. Well assuming you were capped ratio 5 looks like it definitely puts it at your lvl or lower. 4 Looks like it's slightly higher than you. So knowing how much SE likes to go in 5s and 10s perhaps 5 lvls per displacer? Could really see if you could change your lvl a bit. Like Compare dmg at lvl 95
Definitely was not capped ratio. I had Onyos, Arma, Oberon, Thaumas Hat, and Denali legs (From MDB testing) for gear. I did use Stalwarts and Braver's, but that wouldn't cap pDIF.
Wouldn't you need to cap it to keep pdif consistent?
Not sure about ranged pDIF; that's why I asked. At the least, we know 5 makes the mob hit 99 or less. With 3, the mob still has a level advantage. Using 4 is blurry, but that would require gear I don't have on the test server atm.
There are two ratio ranges where ranged pDIF is constant, >3.0 and between 0.9 and 1.1. It is hard to conclude anything about whether or not he was in this range because the sample size is so low, but the 30 damage difference with 3 Displacers vs. the 0 damage difference with 4 is pretty obvious. 3 leaves his level higher than yours and 4 doesn't.
Well given that the 4 data ranged (and in fact some of the hits did more than with flashy shot) sounds like it wasn't in that range. Given that one of the hits also did decently less I would think you'd need more data to say it's the same dmg or am I missing something?
Ranged pdif has a very small range of values for a given ratio.
True. Just didn't see any math to show it was necessarily within that small range. Nice to have it all neatly out there. And seems more like to be 5 lvls per than 6
So, I've got 17 Mul runs worth of parse data combined now. Does anyone wanna figure some stats out?(sorry, I'll gather and post data, but I'm just not up for the mathing.)
If so which mobs should I start with, and exactly what data is needed from the parse?
I can help analyze the data, though it would be easiest to just work on the parse file itself. Can you upload to MediaFire or some such? (note: save without private data first, if you wish)
