It was fookin awesome! Seriously, went as a beginner, came back somewhere above intermediate lol. Had 2 full days of snow when we arrived then the rest of the week was glorious sun! Towards the end of the week the snow packed out a fair bit and it got a bit hard when I took a tumble, but still an amazing set of mountains. We're looking at flights to go back already lol. Vancouver was amazing too, walked my ass off, ate a LOT of sushi and other awesome food (Poutine! Am-ez-in) and took a ride in a sea plane. Had some mega turbulence so that was interesting lol. Got sooooo many pics and GoPro vids. Will post some on here when we get them sorted out but oh man, the pow was immense.

Did loads of stuff! I can write it all here if anyone gives a hoot but I'll hold off for now lol.

On such a downer now :/ England fucking sucks. Almost got ripped off by our taxi driver on the way back from the airport ¬_¬ Canadians, you guys are so nice! Like srsly, couldn't go 10 metres without someone asking whether we were ok or needed any directions (Musta looked like tourism101) Would move out there in an instant if we could afford it. I'd go purely for all the Hockey that seems to be on telly ALL THE TIME. Its once in a blue moon here, and even then I gotta pay out the ass for it. I was absolutely in my element lol. Didn't manage to catch a Canucks game sadly, and I'm kinda glad I missed the Stars beat them on the night we flew home. I'da been torn with who to cheer for! Brought home a jersey and some new boarding boots as souvenirs :D

Oh and we accidentally a Main and Hastings :O Never turned tail so fast in my life lol. I was like "oshi, Vagus said not to come here.." Didn't realise we'd even walked into the area until we saw a buncha vagrants trying to sell stuff from a sheet. Other than that slight moment of "wtf" we had an amazing time! Pics to defo come soon :D

My trip was unbelievably epic. Piles of snow everywhere we rode. Great people.

My only downside was downtown Seattle and downtown Vanny. Full of fucking beggars, loser and drug addicts. On a scale that made me (Live in NYC) disgusted.

Lli, glad you had such a great time!

The bridge on the way out was mindblowing though.

It's literally that one street though. If you had gone down any of the parallel streets it would look normal as shit lol

lol I go over that bridge every day to school and back. It gets really bad when it's rush hour and you hit the 1 lane entry from your side. You get sick of it but yea, the view is nice when the weather is good.

We drove up from Seattle to Whistler on the only clear day of the whole trip. Sea to Sky highway is goddamn awesome.

I loved the Sea to Sky! I was on a coach connection from Van to Whistler and back and it was awesome, altho on the way back it rained and I just wanted to be at the hotel lol. Stunning views, would definately go back in the summer to get the mtb's out, I hear the trails are something else!

Aaah I think we avoided that bit of Hastings but just happened to get caught in a bad part of Chinatown lol I also recall a homeless man outside of the Waterfront Shopping mall bit trying to talk us up to give him a dollar, complimenting my husband on his snazzy dress sense (Snowboard coat and jeans wut) and me on the fact I had no makeup on but apparently it was "going good" for me. Frank the Fashionista we named him lol.

Found the best sushi place ever in that mall. Umi Sushi Express I think it was called. Man I coulda lived there, I think the bloke behind the counter started recognising us lol.

Glad you had a good time too Zet! Next time we're out at the same time we should meet up for some POUTIIIINNEEEEEEEEEE. Om nom :D

We ate so much poutine too! I think I'll be back next year. May do Whistler and then head inland to Banff or Revelstoke next year.
