nice bike man, i have alot of friends that started out on 883's, and they basically told me not to buy one since they all immediately wanted something bigger after about a month of riding it. so i've been holding off, since i can't afford something new, until i can find something a little bigger in my price range, don't think i want anything smaller than a 1200, cause i'm a fairly big dude anyways
I love the way it sounds. It's not too big of a cam (224/226 .587 lift), since it is my daily driver, but still big enough that when I press the gas the people around me know it's cammed. Personally I prefer N/A, and the way it sounds over blowers.
Slight hijack.
I'm planning to buy my first car soon. Looking to spend 15k-20k. I figured since I'm putting in that much I might as well get a new one. Have been looking at Corolla, Civic, and Elantra so far. I don't know jackshit about cars so any advice is appreciated.
First question you should ask is what type do you want? Coupe, sedan, hatchback, wagon, truck, lolvan, lolsuv etc
Leased a Sonata GLS on Monday, loving it so far. I'm probably going to go over the mileage limit, but since I plan on buying it afterward, it isn't really that big of a deal. $265/mo, including some repair package they have for dents (Drivers at the local community college are awful).

If your worried about out growing a 883 right away, then your right in looking at the 1200 customs. They are great bikes.
I settled on the 883 because I honestly did not want something as strong as a 1200 just for cruising. I used to ride road kings at work before getting reassigned. Great work bike, but something I just did not want to be simply cruising with.
Honda VTX 1300, owned it since 2008.
Just bought this last month, loving it so far!
Edit: downsized massive pictures!
