Maybe now the national Cowboys talk will stop, look at who their first 3 opponents were plz. They barely beat the Redskins who lost to the Bills.
I hope Jason Campbell resumes starting qB duties next year. Would be cool for him to be in a single system consecutive years.
Football Outsiders article (ESPN Insider required) about Flynn's performance (rated as the 15th best since 1991) and how other QBs with games in that ballpark have fared in their careers:
Interesting quote regarding his future and the Packers plans:

Yeah god stupid Packers putting themselves in a position to tag/trade him for a high pick. Should've played Rodgers.Flynn is about to enter free agency, but the Packers would never be foolish enough to let him walk away for nothing. They'll likely franchise him and trade him away for picks, just like New England did with Matt Cassel, though there is inherent risk in that decision because Flynn could opt to accept the tag. The Pats sent Cassel and Mike Vrabel to Kansas City for a second-round pick. Given how many teams are desperate for quality young quarterbacks to build around -- Seattle, Miami and Washington, to name some of the top candidates -- the Pack are bound to get more than that for Flynn. Any team that gets Flynn for a first-round pick may well have gotten quite a bargain.
if he gets tagged he's not getting traded nor is someone gonna give the packers 2 first round picks lol
And yes, Jordy Nelson did in fact have the greatest season for a WR in the past 20 years.
Also the Packers tied the single-season record for passing touchdowns with 51 (tied the 2004 Colts) and set the NFL record for touchdowns by QBs with 55.At this point, it wasn't too surprising to see Nelson play well, even without Aaron Rodgers. No, we're listing Nelson as a surprising player because his season-long performance was so unexpected. In his first three seasons, he never ranked in the top 20 in DVOA (Football Outsiders' per-play metric). But in 2011, Nelson set a new record with a DVOA of 54.1 percent, surpassing the 49.7 percent San Francisco's John Taylor set in 1983.
Final QBR Standings:
Spoiler: show
bc one had a good game and the other had a good season
Cowher+Gruden already told Miami theyre both not interested in the open HC spot there
don't worry though, i'm sure someone will be dumb enough to take on kevin ko- i mean matt flynn
Flynns not getting tagged because the risk far far exceeds the potential reward. They'll lose Finley, who is probably a first round talent in terms of value anyway and pay their backup more than their starter if someone refuses to pay 2 1st rounders.
