1. Open Control Panel and click on "System and Security"
2. Click "System"
3. In the left pane, click Advanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
4. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
5. Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.
6. Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.
7. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
8. Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click OK.
To know (or get an idea of) what to set it to, at the bottom of the Virtual Memory window, there's a section that says "Total paging size for all drives." Beneath that there is a "Recommended" size. This is the size I made mine. Originally it was set to about 8000MB. I have 8G of physical RAM and a 1TB HDD. The recommended setting will probably be different for everybody. I set both my initial size and maximum size to the same amount (12285MB for me) so that the paging file won't change or fluctuate.
Anyway, this worked for me, I hope it can help someone else as well.
