I take that back, just my wife's came with the generic case. Mine came with the D&G case and little baggy. Lenses are as clear as the ones in my Versace frames. This was about the best deal ever ever.

MUST FIND MY SCRIPT
It's been a year and they'll want me to go back.
fuck em
Eyeglass scripts are typically 2 years, contacts are a year
Doctor wouldn't give me my prescription as it was too old (I think only 2 years or less). Had to go in and request it until they would.
There's really no catch with the free glasses thing?
No, I'm rocking some sweet dolce and gabbana glasses right now.
I will say that my wife's glasses seem off, it looks fish eyed. Gonna call and see what they say.
You may need to go into an eye glasses store to get your glasses adjusted if you do get them, mine were uncomfortable before I did. I'm pretty sure Lenscrafters does it for free regardless if you bought them there or not, but any local store should do it for free if you play the "I just moved here and need my glasses adjusted" card.
damn i want those glasses lmao
You really need to get better at taking advantage of programs for poor people.

For Canadian's there is clearlycontacts.ca.
They often have deals and have "free" specials often, and all you pay is shipping. Be warned the "free" glasses are usually for people with low prescriptions. I'm a -8 and couldn't get a free pair. However the prices are still great. I have 3 pairs of specs from these guys and haven't had much issue. If you decide to order from any online place, the most difficult part is getting the Pupillary distance. You can do it yourself, but i suggest asking the eye doc to do it for you when you get your prescription.
I'm looking for a pair of wooden glasses now for a decent price.

lol, I never qualify for any of said programs, but I'll give this one a shot
Lol don't really have documentation for $0 income. Let's see how this plays outIf you or your family are eligible, proof of income will need to be verified. A copy of your application will be sent for your review and signature along with instructions via mail or email (if provided) and will need to be returned with income verification documents.
For a family member trying to qualify for certain low-income benefit programs, she's been asked before to just produce a signed statement declaring that she has no sources of income and explaining how she's supported in that regard. I can't imagine any of these programs have never dealt with applicants in your same situation, though, so hopefully they'd have those answers.
Got me some $7 prescription glasses. Freaking stoked. Definitely need more sources of great deals like this, keep 'em coming and thank you so much!
hmm, well I pretty much live in an empty house, which mortgage is long over due, I have no power, water, or gas, but the house hasn't foreclosed yet, so I'm still here, not not really being supported for anything, lol
Do you get explanations on why you're rejected and what would make you eligible? I think I remember you saying you don't get your mail delivered because the mailman won't deliver in your area or something, which I don't even understand how that is a thing they can elect to do lol is there a mailing address you can use of any kind with friends or family that you'd be able to pick up?
I'm going through this with someone right now who has no foreseeable income of any type and isn't going to be getting on Disability/SSI anytime soon and we're also in FL so hopefully we'll learn something you can take advantage of.
Nope, last time I was rejected from food stamps, which was a while ago cause I gave up with them, it just says "your application is denied for the following months [insert current month and following two months here], you can apply again at that time".
I have my mail delivered to a friend's house and just pick it up there. The mail lady doesn't come to our house anymore cause of too many complaints from when my uncle had his dog.
Alright, I'll let you know if I find anything re: new programs or dumb eligibility nuances; she's epileptic and applying to a state-based foundation that might have social workers to consult about programs and halp.
Alright, thx
