Interesting. So the final chamber first wave is 4 mobs, thus leaving the Paramount Botulus and Ig-Alima in a wave together, with or without the Paramount Avatar.

For layout, think Lily tower map 1 (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/In...oto_Ruins/Maps) without the side rooms, and the middle hollowed out.
We just entered with 18 after entering with 21 last run and the mobs are noticeably weaker apparently. Hard to tell for me as I'm on PLD.
Also worth mentioning (it may be said in the instructions or something), your ally must have at least 3 people in to enter. Which is why we entered with 18. Had 21, 1 person DC'ed and then the 2 man party of the second alliance could not enter as it said they needed 3 people. Rest of the ally had already entered so couldn't go back and stick someone in their party.
this is surprising to anyone? I did a few asuran 36man pugs and being the only person (pld) on wyrm I was not not able to do more than maybe 5-8% to it by the time our group had killed the turtle in An with a fairly decent cdc set bergressor sushi etc compared to what someone said on FFXIAH in an 18man run where their pld already had it flying by the time first wave turtle was dead.. obviously 2 difficulties for 18/36 person sets. According to what was said in that thread they were killing their first mob faster than our lolpet group anyways, my laptop would have exploded if I tried to parse hp values in there sadly
also I hope pugs on asura stop doing 36 person, nearly impossible to have that many randoms in such a small area and not be overwhelmed with retardation.. 18 screened, possibly good players >>>> 36 smns in shit gear/ war/nins who went 1/1 on mekira/ etc.
I missed the part where any previous content in this game scaled based on number of participants
Oh really? Uninvited Guests says hi
I also missed the part where einherjar allowed you to "With the key item in your possession, speak to Mayuyu in the same area and choose your desired battlefield and capacity (eighteen or thirty-six combatants)"

really...uninvited guests? just walk away from this.
really....its that hard to believe there exist 2 versions of legion with difficulties scaled to 18 and 36 persons? I should expect no less from someone with a john cena sig
Someone obviously missed the message of the sig...
Because it would have been so hard to code Einherjar as 1 set of mobs per wave for every 18 people, which clearly wasnt the case...I'm done, "its so surprising".
why do you keep bringing up einherjar like it has anything to do with legion? if waves of mobs is your only correlation.. I have bad news for you son
Legion is the revamped Einherjar SE promised us, don't kid yourself because you know that just as well as everyone else. Now stop.
Legion isn't the revamped einherjar, they said they were adding additional einherjar chambers. Specifically relating to Einherjar, not Legion.
Am I missing something or being whooshed? Einherjar did scale depending on participants. Either that or we had incredibly bad luck when we did it as an LS and the complete polar opposite luck when we did it lowman.
On full scale LS runs we got the maximum number of mobs/waves on virtually every run. When we low-manned it, we got the minimum number of waves/mobs on every run except 1 iirc (I remember there being 1 run that we were shocked at getting max waves because it had never happened before low-man). It was a hugely noticeable difference anyway that made us facepalm about taking some less than stellar players back in the day just to pad out numbers.
I don't think it has a massive bearing on Legion either way though.
