so I just listened to this interview with Kelly Sue DeConnick talking about the new Captain Marvel. Apparently, the way Carol's hair is just a bit shorter, but slicked back. This is for her helmet apparently. Aka not a Beiber hairstyle, not a mohawk, not a mullet. If anyone is interested.

I haven't read all the new releases today yet but I had to post about a couple amazing issues. FF ending blew my mind. BLEW MY MIND! X-Force had one of the roughest endings to a story arc I've ever read. Remender puts them through so much shit, it's brutal.

I, Vampire was like woah this week. The art blows me away. Also enjoyed Flash a lot. UFX art is good, but doesnt fit the book. Ghost Rider, well I like Alejandra more than Johnny

Yup, 2 times the Boosh. I just wonder what direction they are going to go with Doom. I love Hickman's Doom, I hated Doom in Children's Crusade. Marvel needs to stop going to Dunderheads like Loeb, Bendis & Fraction for crossover events and utilize Hickman. This whole story with the Council of Reeds, the Kree, the Negative Zone, the Celestials, etc etc is the most amazing epic shit in years, and it was so full of heart!

agreed 100% i never read hickman before i picked up fantastic four 587, or whenever johnny died. He is fucking amaaaaaazing. his doom is absolute perfection.

Give him some new titles to fill out the ultimate line. I'd say give him the whole thing, but honestly Bendis is doing fine with UMS and X-Men is going well. Just need some more ongoings to fill things out IMO. Outside of how far reaching Ultimates is it feels kind of limited ATM.

And yes, read all of Hickman's Fantastic Four/FF if you can. Having read the whole thing, moments like Johnny doing the signature 4 in the sky in 601 is about the closest I've come to crying while reading a comic book.
