At first I was upset but when I thought about it, you know eventually Pete is gonna come back. I'm just going to enjoy Spock as Spider-man until that issue rolls around.

Did anyone else read Mara by Brian Wood? It was pretty interesting and Ming Doyle's art was really quite fantastic.

In the future, wars are everywhere. Tons of hyper-competitive sports leagues pop up and sports stars become huge icons across the world. The biggest is 17 year old Mara Prince, volleyball player. It kind of goes into her life a bit, as well as sets up how the world is. The last couple pages is crazy. All of a sudden, she starts moving super fast on national tv. She becomes the first known super powered person. End issue.

The thing I loved about Spidey was his jovial nature during fights, making jokes to catch enemies offguard, I really wonder how SpOck will be with that, in a way that its believable. Will he say a joke for the first time and be like "where did that come?"

It won't last. If nothing else Peter will be back in charge by the time the next ASM movie rolls around.

Also, compared to most of the major characters Spider-Man gets very few reboots. Last one was OMD, which was years ago. Look at other characters like the X-Men or Flash, who are practically averaging a reboot a year at this point.

Well the best argument I heard for where this could lead is an internal struggle between the Doc Ock personal and Peter's persona, taking the viewpoint that their minds weren't really "swapped" but that Doc Ock actually just overwrote the main persona in each body. Basically that Doc Ock is the dominant persona within Peter's mind at the moment.

New Avengers and ANX(tried of typing All New X-Men lol) were both really good. I actually thought the adversaries Hickman came up with were similar, but more interesting than the ones in Avengers. Also, how will little Warren react when he finds out what he became/what happened to him.

I was a little disappointed in New Avengers. The set-up took just way too long. I know it will get better though.

Yes, that's exactly what's happening all over /co/. I'm enjoying ANX so far but in the long run, what will be the repercussions of pulling the founding five to the present? They can't have an ongoing title forever. Bendis already implied that the time travel affected the Guardians of the Galaxy(why they appeared in Avengers Assemble).
