A Star Trek/Doctor Who mashup looks to be happening! BleedingCool reports that IDW will be announcing an official crossover comic that will star the 11th Doctor, Amy, Rory, and Captain Picard’s Enterprise crew.

The comic has not officially been announced yet, but the first issue will reportedly be released in May. The announcement will likely take place during the Gallifrey One Doctor Who convention in Los Angeles next week.

Did anyone read New Avengers this week? Can someone explain to me why they confuse Ragnarok with Thor? I only ask because Thor doesn't exist in their minds after Fear Itself, instead that other guy(Tanar-whatever) is the one they always remember as being there.

Also, Wanda apparently got breast implants between the cover of Ultimate X-Men and when she appears on the inside.

    Batman
    Spoiler: show
One of the difficult things about Batman is to find a real challenge for him. He has been built up as so smart, so paranoid, that he has a solution to everything. In Batman #5, Scott Synder did an excellent job of making it seem the Court of Owls broke Batman's psyche. We all felt like we were going insane with him, especially with the sideways and upside down pages. Now that Batman has broken free of the Court, it will be interesting to see where it goes.

    New Avengers
    Spoiler: show
ugh...just so bad. I already commented that it makes no sense the team confuses Ragnarok and Thor. The rest of the book is just a brawl, but because I spent the whole time thinking "this makes no sense", the fight was uninteresting. Maybe I had to read the newest issue of Avengers along side of it to make sense, idk

    Venom
    Spoiler: show
More Circle of Four. I love Sana Takeda's art. I was worried that it would detract being so different from the previous two issues. It doesn't. I also really enjoyed the ups and downs each hero goes through in this issue alone.

    Ultimate X-Men
    Spoiler: show
Of course one of my favorite characters ever is on the cover, then the book is a letdown. I know Wanda has always had ample breasts, but she looks like her waist should snap in half. Other than that, they spent all these issues to build Quicksilver up as something important then its like "lol nah trollin u"

    X-Factor
    Spoiler: show
End of the Madrox keeps dying part. Fun issue as always. Didnt enjoy it as much as the previous few though. Not really sure why.

    Birds of Prey
    Spoiler: show
Excluding the first issue, it seemed like this team was just getting outsmarted and knocked around. Finally, they fight back. This is one of the better DCn52's out. Starling is a great character, and I love how Poison Ivy acts the same even if she isn't committing crimes.

some time after the Osborn mini, he decided to make a new Dark Avengers team. It's the same issue that the newest Avengers team is announced, complete with a rebuilt Vision. The team is Gorgon as Wolverine, Madame Hydra as someone, some AIM scientist supreme chick as Ms. Marvel, Hawkeyes brother, and Skaar.

As for Greg Land, why is he on anything ever? I cant even read Uncanny with him and Gillen destroying it.

With crime increasing in New York City, he transforms himself into The Spider. Using his wits, technology and pistols, he fights a one-man war against crime.

Since UFX might be the best thing ever, here is a lot of info on the next arc
    Spoiler: show
    http://cdnmo.coveritlive.com/media/i...010025_cov.jpg
    It is called Final Execution.
This is not just the next arc of Uncanny X-Force, it's the next MEGA arc." -Senior Editor Nick Lowe
"It's ridiculous. We were going to just call the arc 'It's Ridiculous.'" -Rick Remender
"This is the next giant saga of Uncanny X-Force. What the Dark Angel Saga was to the first year-plus of X-Force, this is to the upcoming year. We've been working on it for months." -Nick Lowe
"We changed one big element of the Dark Angel Saga, and this story grows out of that. So it's actually kind of a double mega arc, because this is an extension of the Dark Angel Saga in some ways. It's nine issues and a continuation of what we've been doing in some ways." -Rick Remender
"The beauty of sequential storytelling in comics is you never really have to finish your stories, you can keep coming back to them." -Rick Remender
This story will deal with a brand new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, who grow out of the Dark Angel Saga.
This is the toughest Brotherhood of Evil Mutants ever. When you see who's in it, you'll see just what the stakes are for X-Force." -Rick Remender
"Part of this book has always been that if you have a team like X-Force, you will always see the consequences for every bit of blood on them." -Rick Remender
This is going to be the ugliest, most down and dirty thing I've ever written." -Rick Remender
"The script I got this week involved Deadpool on a shopping spree. I've never read anything like that and I've certainly never drawn anything like that." -Mike McKone
"I love sending Deadpool on these recon missions and every single time he opens a door and there's Galactus or something." -Rick Remender
"I tried to envision something I thought Mike could really excel at here. Issue #25 introduces a new take on a classic X-Men villain and I can't wait to see Mike draw them. They're the Omega Clan, three new characters built from the remains of Omega Red." -Rick Remender
The Omega Clan consists of Omega White, Omega Red and Omega Black. All of them have reasons to want to kill X-Force.
Nick and I have tried to find very smart reasons to double and triple the nightmare we toss on these characters." -Rick Remender
"When I start a book, I'm not thinking about issues #25-34, but when we were leading up to Dark Angel Saga, Final Execution started to form as well." -Rick Remender
"So much of Uncanny X-Force is about responsibility for your actions." -Nick Lowe
"Any place that manufactures humans into weapons is going to piss off a couple members of X-Force. I always want a personal reason for why these characters take on these missions." -Rick Remender on White Skies
"In the 90's we got into 'Everything is so hardcore! Let's all get into the jacuzzi of blood and murder people with razorblades! Extreme!' I'm a child of the 70's and 80's. For me, Wolverine's inner conflict is whether or not to pop the claws and it's not something he casually walks into. He fights the animal, but sees the need to let him out once in awhile. I'm a Claremont X-Men guy. The characters speak to me from that era. I write them with those voices dipped in the Grant Morrison era." -Rick Remender
"I wanted to make sure these characters killing had enough gravity and weight that there would be consequences. They have reasons, but they're conflicted and complicated. Uncanny X-Force is in some ways a reaction to comics where murder was no longer a big issue." -Rick Remender
"Psylocke's trajectory is the big one to watch here." -Nick Lowe
"The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants has a huge plan that stems from the earlier issues of Uncanny X-Force. Archangel's fall was really the smaller consequence from killing the child Apocalypse. This is the big consequence." -Rick Remender
"Final Execution is Wolverine's spotlight arc. He goes through a crazy thing here. I think the fear with him is that he's in so many books that his growth can become stagnant. He ends this story in a very different place." -Rick Remender
"By the end of this arc, Wolverine and Betsy will never be the same...until some other writer comes in." -Rick Remender
"Some members of the Brotherhood you have seen in X-Force. The others are all big characters, and they belong here naturally. We spent a lot of time figuring out what each character is doing on the team. You're going to see a lot of X-Men villains who have cooled off for awhile, and many re-imagined." -Rick Remender
"The Omega Clan has similar powers to Omega Red. Their powers are uniquely suited to X-Force. I don't want to give away the whys. I don't want to give away where their brains come from, because it's a big fun reveal in issue #25." -Rick Remender
There are big plans for Genesis. You don't put a piece like that on the board without having an idea where it's going." -Rick Remender

Unrelated, but equally awesome: "I don't trust Jason Aaron. I don't care for his beard, his beady eyes or his hillbilly sensibilities. He thinks he is still fighting the Civil War." -Rick Remender

Sony announced today that it plans to fully close its PSP comic download service later this year, and remove the comics option from the main PSP interface.

The company stopped updating the service last year, although it is still possible to download comics via the service. However, from the end of September, PSP users will no longer be able to purchase digital comics, reports Andriasang.

Those users who have already purchased comics can continue to redownload their collection until the end of the year, at which point this option will also become unavailable. Sony suggested these people should back up their comic collections before the year is out.

    I,Vampire
    Spoiler: show
The attack of Mary. Vampire after vampire. Andrew makes a choice that Batman does not agree with. Tig makes a choice that may destroy them all. This is such a fantastic series so far. The artwork is amazing, the story compelling, it's dark, but not morbid. It's something that I feel people can really enjoy even if they arent into vampires. Will be interesting to see how the coming crossover with another should be Vertigo title next month.

    Voodoo
    Spoiler: show
Clone Voodoo is pissed and kills a bunch of aliens to find out what is going on. "Original" Voodoo is rescued. Seems to be tying in more and more with Supermand and Stormwatch(neither I read). Decent issue.

    Flash
    Spoiler: show
A new-ish Captain Cold. More angry, more deadly, much more scary. The jumping around in time points was a little confusing, but not too bad. I like that we know why Captain Cold is intent on killing The Flash. It adds depth to the character that can come off as rather silly at times.

    X-Men: Legacy
    Spoiler: show
More Exodus stuff. Big battle issue. Next one seems to be the same. I feel the team sent to "assist" with Exodus was a big FU from Scott to Logan.

    Wolverine and the X-men
    Spoiler: show
I've come to the conclusion that Jason Aaron has the sway to do literally whatever he wants and Marvel will be like "ya sure". It is so absurd, so out there, and it all works. I like Iceman being more badass too.

    New Mutants
    Spoiler: show
So I grew up reading New Mutants. Every second of this issue felt like "hey long time New Mutants fans, this is for you!" I dont know what to say really, I was just a fanboy reading this.

    Magneto: Not a Hero
    Spoiler: show
The final fight between Joseph and Mags. I really felt like the first few pages could have been put in issue three and the battle could have been longer. My favorite part, however, is the end. It just reminds everyone Magneto is still Magneto, no matter his allegiances.

    Venom
    Spoiler: show
I absolutely love this series. It's everything a super hero comic should be. The writers either really love or really hate these characters because in just 4 issues, all 4 of the heroes have really been beat up mentally and physically.

    X-Men
    Spoiler: show
This continues the story of Jubilee running off to train with vampires and the rest of the team trying to find her. It's still weird to see the X-Men fighting vampires though, isnt it? Jubilee seems to be having a harder time trying to adjust to being a vampire. I felt that didn't really come across well since the Wolverine and Jubilee mini. Ok issue, but nothing great.

geez I read a lot this week
