I'm still so pissed that chart had Chamber and Husk standing next to each other as junior staff and then they never pursued or even hinted at their romance... instead fucking toad... that could have been such an interesting love triangle even...

I actually liked the end of death in the family, good twist at the end. I was a little stunned at parts of it but really enjoyed it. Reading uncanny x-men after dinner.

Ultimate X-Men really pumps up the threat level on mutants. It is something the main universe is lacking, despite the claims mutants are persecuted, we never see it.

The supporting titles mostly sucked (I kind of liked Batgirl), but the main storyline in Batman was awesome, but I don't think I could even go back and re-read it now knowing all the tension was for absolutely nothing.

And from what I'm seeing around the internet, the various "professional" reviewers are pretty much all giving Batman #17 a perfect score. Wonder how much DC burned paying them all off.
