Actually I think another Allred is writing FF and it's continuing. I like Mike Allred's style and enjoy the retro logo/look for Silver Surfer, but hipsters in space is unnecessary. Got married this weekend so way behind on everything, but managed to read Lazarus #4 and man that book is great. I love Greg Rucka.

Haha I wish. Our cake topper was hockey related instead. I did get comic book store gift cards though! At the reception I changed into my Jeff Lemire variant cover of Valiant's Harbinger to get my dance on after all the formal stuff. Left the tie on to be classy.

I got my wife's maid of honor a selection of graphic novels cause she always reads stuff when she visits: Got her Saga v. 1+2, East of West v1, Lazarus v1, and Hawkeye v1. She cried when I gave them to her so she's good people.

I already love Rivera's art but the wedding stuff just blew my mind. Looking at a lot of the characters in his invitation, I see we had similar appreciations from our youth. And that cake topper...MY ALL TIME FAVORITE VERSION OF WOLVERINE! Paolo and I are spiritual bros.

MAA: Season 2 Chapter 2 just went live bringing with it the new Empowered Iso's and the level 13 cap increase for heroes. And the 90's Cyclops uniform as well for the mastery reward.

Marvel knocking out of the park this week. Hickman being Hickman in Avengers/New Avengers, and Superior Spider-Man is looking to hit full on "shit hits the fan" mode after this week's issue

I just read last weeks(I think it was last week) Uncanny X-Force. Mummudrai and Cassandra Nova behind the whole thing. Pretty crazy. Love the art, I wish Humphries wouldn't have them curse every 2 seconds. Black boxed censored words is unnecessary.

At least until Bendis gets his mitts on it (since he wouldn't know what continuity was if it slapped him across the face with it's dick), I love that this storyline has basically established that 2099 IS the future of the 616.

At least until Wolverine breaks the timestream again i.e. Bendis.

I love New Avengers so much. Hickman is a long game, big picture writer, which is one of my favorite things about him. The incursions and the big war are tied together. My favorite part was Thanos conceding to the threat of Black Swan. I cannot wait for the big reveal of the underlying threat to everything.

I caught up with Infinity last night. So awesome. I loved Beast's "Oh my stars and garters."
Can't wait to see what the new avengers do. Even though the inhumans popping up everywhere is exactly the same as new mutant popping up everywhere last year I don't care and look forward to reading more about them. I need to pick up Jenkin's Inhumans story.

I also can't wait to get my hands on the Infinity hard cover someday. All 15 issues or whatever all together will be sweet to reread that way.

Also January solicits are out. Both FF and Fantastic Four come to an end with issue 16 though I would have to expect at least Fantastic Four will be coming back with a new title again. X-Men Legacy also seems to be on its way out going by the solicit but not done just yet.

I would assume Superior Spiderman will have another short storyline or one shot stuff for the next few months with background teasers of Carlie and Wraith setting plans in motion, then have a nice long arc leading to Peter's return around the time of the next AMS movie complete with a series relaunch. Even if Marvel isn't doing the movie they'll prolly sync it up to catch new readers.

Yeah I caught the image. I also really enjoyed that they squeezed in the panel from ole' AMS #365 in those "flashbacks" SpOck was having. Was always one of my favorite Spidey moments.
