I hope they're able to end Bakuman on a high note. I'm not one who wants a manga/anime to go on forever. I want it to end how the authors truly want it to end, and on a high note. The second half of Death Note was just so...ugh.

That sucks, but all things considered with the story at this point, it makes sense. Here's hoping the last chapter is twice as long as usual and has some glances into what happens in the future for everyone.

Jeez, I knew it could end soon, but that is just crazy. =( I feel like I just started reading this manga. Sad that it is ending, but at the same time, glad they aren't making it go on too long, especially with the manga in Bakuman going through the exact same thing. >.>

Wow. I can't believe I actually started reading a manga, and now it's ending. Unlike OP/Naruto... that seem to go on for fucking ever. :< Still sad to see that this is it! No more weekly updates for Miyoshi, Azuki, Mashiro, and Takagi. :<

I hope hope hope we get a flash forward of sorts though (not sure what's going on in that picture..someone in a suit) and not just ending with the proposal.

I know exactly what you mean. This is one of the few manga that I actually read on a weekly basis, and it's definitely the first to have a conclusion. It's a bit surreal lol
