So question on these armor models. Where are they from?
Spoiler: show
The first one is Armor Set 16 which is the "unique" crafted model. This can be crafted at level 250. It should be white armor level 52. It is also available as Tier 10 Leather Template which comes from the optional bonus boss in Saleron's Sky Garden.
The second is Armor Set 18, which I'm not sure of where it comes from. I've only seen it on the AH as gold armor, but no templates for it. Labyrinth of Terror maybe? I never got any drops from there I think. Ebon Tower?
The third is Armor Set 17, which again, I've only seen on the AH and as gold armor. Not sure where it comes from. I would guess that just like 18, they're the old 58 dungeon drops?
Best to get started sooner rather than later then, lol
Figured as much. I only did LoT like once for the story quest and never went back. Same with Ebon Tower. So I imagine the two sets would come from those places. Are there crafted templates for 17 and 18 at all? I actually like the plate 18 for Elin as it goes the best with my stockings until the maid dress comes out.
Crit rate vs Power, what do?
Currently have enigmatic gloves that give me 2 power and 4 crit rate. Should I keep this or keep trying for 8 crit power?
THinking overall power in the long run will be better, as sustained constant high dps -> hoping for a crit to happen (besides bosses tend to have crit resistance) and i think PVP gear does also?
So what's the trick to dealing with the two pet adds in Skygarden on the first notable difficulty boss? I was told (me being on Mystic...) to crowd-control 'em, but every time the boss called for them (which an onscreen message appears) it was a no-go for me getting them back in a timely manner since I had to focus more on cure-bombing the tank nearly non-stop after they go loose.
Our tank just bailed on us after we just barely beat it at any rate which ended that run real quick, so I'd rather be more informed so I can tell if it was my fault, or a real bad tank since there was a point where I was healing him non-stop because of the damage he was taking, which only stopped after I ganked hate and started kiting.
well, if you stun him everytime he says You think that's all i've got?! or w/e it is, he won't summon them, he needs to go to a specific place near were he spawns to pull them out, failing this, we've never cc'd or anything, we just ignore them and zerg the boss down, it is alittle rough, but we've never wiped doing it this way. The stun method though is useful, but he will constantly try to go pull them out, so everyone needs to be on the ball.
I just let him summon them and then I voke and tank them all while the party gets the main boss down. Gotta keep moving around so you don't get squashed but I barely take any damage doing it.
I tanked it as a slightly overlevel warrior and I just taunted them and avoided them. A decent party should be able to avoid dying to them too and just burn down the boss.
So I just had a shit tank that really expected the healer to hold the adds. Gotcha. Will keep the stun note in mind since I do have one skill for that.
whats a good way to make money once 60? Outside of selling enigmatic gear your group doesn't need? Dailies aren't that much money and Nexus is a few hundred gold per run, but thats not frequent enough to count
I solo NT, GL, some of Sky Garden (hopefully all soon), and sloths in BT.
I'm not 60, but I'd have figured the upper-tier armor/weapons would be decent gold for people trying to enchant their gear.
So what's the estimation on doing Nexus events and how long it will take to get the gear/rep you want? Are there any other quests for rep other then Nexus stuff?
Leather any tier normally sells for a stupid amount. By stupid, I mean the level 22 blue leather drops from Bastion of Lok were selling for 30-60g a piece. I sold the blue enigmatic leather gloves from Bastion of Lok for 55g. I've sold gold leather bodies from SM and CR for 100g+ as well. While the rest of the blue drops from Bastion and SM don't sell for much, it's a constant trickle of gold every day... or well.. was. They don't seem to sell as often now.
